  • Wow subbed:)

  • Hey man, great video. I just got the 7d mainly for photography, but im trying out the video. do you have to use manual focus for this cuz auto is very slow while recording?

  • Nice! I´m shooting with t2i myself but im saving up for fisheye. :)

  • Really nice video I have a canon t2i and I was wondering is the lens one you can put straight onto the body or do you need an adapter.

  • @scooterandboard straight on. thanks!

  • i applaud you for using such a great song

  • @ibjacob123 whats the song?

  • @Swiffy44 Wake Up by The Walkmen

  • Nice!

  • SWAG!!!!!!!

  • 0:32 shakey shakey!

  • @mintfiction dont be a dick..all your videos are shakier than shit.

  • @tjizzle2da everthing on my youtube is filmed on an iphone. dill with it

  • were's the spot after 3rd and army?

  • Got the same setup and im lovin it. Check out my channel.

  • Hey,

I have a question for you.. Did you film in manual or auto mode.. On auto I always get under or overexposed videos but when I film in manual I have to change settings constantly ..

  • @Mart1freak always film in manual. yeah you have to change settings but thats just how it works i'm afraid!

  • that first spot looks just like the dock area in skate 3! :O

    --

  • san francisco !! just like it tony hawk pro skater 4 :D :D :D

  • best lens ever. i own one myself.

  • dopeee

  • 2nd and army!

  • i love that kids these days only know about third and army from a video game

  • @buttersk8in correct me if im wrong, but vx2's just film in 60i. which is not that good, plus it is sd. the 7d has 30p and 24p (the rate at which movies are filmed in) but the t2i also has the same video qualities as the 7d, as does the t3i. but the 7d beats the t2i and t3i in stills. for video, DEFINATLEY use a 7d. they are of a much better class than vx2's

  • what lens i also have a 7d

  • @Backegoon how bout you take the time to read the bloody title and the description and stop asking stupid questions

  • very good lighting, what song is this?

  • would you recommend this lens? i am debating buying it please respond

  • @yeahitsmateo Obviously he recommends it idiot...just read the description "What a fantastic lens for $300"

  • SKATE 3 SPOT

  • the first spot looks identical to 2nd and Navy from Skate 3

  • This looks sick. Where did you get the camera? and what is it called?

  • I like how it's a real montage and not a load of OMFG HD superSLOMO bullshit

  • Do you film with a cam caddie?

  • I made a handle out of scrap metal. Highly recommended over purchasing one...

  • @henryhop02 i wouldnt recomend it considering this was shaky as hell....

  • where is this filmed at?

  • where is this filmed at?

  • San Francisco, CA

  • Did you use an external mic? cause the audio is amazing

  • Nope, this is the internal mic.

  • @henryhop02 wow, audio is really crisp right off the camera.

  • 1:19-1:23 = wtf

    solid

does this lens look much wider than the samyang/pro-optic 8mm? it doesn't look like it from youtube, i'm not sure which to buy, they are pretty similarly priced.

  • This is a 6.5mm lens, so about the same,1.5mm is not enough in my opinion to tell a difference. Both great lenses!

  • I don't know why, but I find myself watching this at least once a week. Hahah. I guess I just love your camera work man!

  • Wow thanks, I appreciate it! Im actually a little embarrassed about some of these clips, im all over the place and shaky. But thanks again!

  • @henryhop02 Anytime dude. :)

  • i know this may sound a stupid question but do you have the focus set to infinite to record? im thinking about buying this lens for my 7D :)

  • can yu edit with tha canon 7d on adobe premiere cs3 and after effects cs3

  • The Opteka lens is great. Definitely worth the money.

  • nice fisheye work

  • This is great man!

  • Hey nice video man. Make more yeah? Btw is this lens the same as the samyang 8mm?

  • very similar and same price range, I have not used any samyang lenses though so I cant offer my opinions. Thanks for watching!

  • damn, optekas killin it right now

  • soo sick! more coverage of Mike Ridgway on my account !peep it..

  • Love this video <3

  • That was pretty cool I actually have to say.

  • getting the t2i and same lens(:

what do you use to follow with? do you just hold it or have a rig?

  • I made a handle, its very easy I would suggest making one and save your money! You can find a lot of DIY handles out there. Good luck!

  • hey man i got a 7d with an opteka also but im not having fun filmin with it like i did with my vx's dvx's and so on. i have it listed on ebay and i was just wondering what you think i should do

  • Besides the lack of a digital zoom, I love this camera. What do you not like about it?

  • @henryhop02 i love the thought of using it for snowboarding because its water resistent and portable but im not having fun filming with it but i do love the amazing quality. My friends never want to film anymore and my computer runs very slow when im editing. There are pros and cons about this camera and ive always thought it was about having the biggest baddest setup, i guess i can live it and in the mean time save up for a vx1 mk1

  • No matter what you are editing on, you have to convert the footage first before editing. I use final cut pro, It will take the files but its plays choppy, so I convert to ProRes first, then its a breeze to edit. You should look to fix the issues you are having with filming or your post production workflow before you sell off this great camera for an old VX. Just my opinion though...Good luck no matter your choice!

  • @henryhop02 Would sony vegas 9.0 work with ProRes? or do i have to get final cut pro?

  • ProRes is a mac friendly codec. Just google "what is the best HD codec for Vegas".

  • That's seriously one of the best Canon 7D footage i've ever seen !!!!! I love that video ! Just keep it up, this extremely good, and that fisheye looks sooooo amazing on it. Haha, okay i definitely sub to your channel ;)

  • Thanks!!!

  • so sick!!! is it hard filming skating with the 7d

  • Thanks! Not really, you need to make or buy some kind of handle if shooting with a fisheye though. As you can see (from the shakiness) I still need some practice myself!

  • dang u guys are so beast thats why subbed u
