Not listen to them. The technique is wrong in this clip. With the cruyff turn you need to scoop the ball towards the turn with the whole of your instep not just the inside of your toe. The ball needs to go the opposite direction to where you are facing. These guys are all over the place

You need to make it look like your about to shoot/pass, and then lean backwards and turn. Otherwise the defender can tell what your doing.
