am suriya fans, but this is too much, especially suriya go and behead an old lady.... how can suriya accepting this kind of role?. Too much even a suriya fan like me... likely this film going to flop....

Surya said at the audio launch of Rakht Charitra that he chose the film because of the CHARACTER he plays, not because the fact that it's violent. He said that the violence takes a back seat, the main thing in this movie is the EMOTIONS.

And also, this is an 18+ film - not because of the violence, but because only the adults can understand the emotions that the characters would have gone through.

@trishna147 not sure... how audience going to take this, especially scene that he beheading an old lady... too gory even for an adult... my wife, even a surya fan not willing opt for this movie...

i appreciate suriya taking experimental role, he is far more better actor than vijay... but not sure on this one... hope i'm wrong you're right

super geniuses there is no technology used in this song to MODULATE the singers voice to MM Keeravani or ilayaraja or who so ever... if needed be hear the HINDI track sung by Sudesh Wadkar a veteran Singer and then check... thanks for your expert comments...
