Quite the opposite. I only deal with high end morphs, meaning they go for quite a bit of money. It's expensive to get into, but once they start breeding I will be doing VERY WELL.

I had 4 snakes in January. I got the Mojave, Lesser and Rosy Boa in March. I got the pair of Albinos and Tartar in June. My Kenyan Sand Boa female gave birth in August to 11 babies.

for people that flame these feeding videos, heres some numbers to piss you off more haha. the average snake eats once a week and will live for about 15 years (usually more) so thats 780 dead rodents. huge snake breeders have like 10k snakes in their collection so thats 7800000 rodents haha.

That depends on a lot of different factors such as species, weight, temp, etc. I have heard of some snakes going over a year. Meanwhile some can only go a month or 2.

I have a pair of these and they are fantastic. got them about a month ago. the female is about 6 months older than the male and twice as big and can not wait for them to breed. a lot easier to breed these as they are live bearers and give birth to live young.

Try taking a small cardboard box, like tv dinner box (one that can fit in the cage). Poke several holes in the top to let air in. Move the substrate off of the heat pad only leaving a thin layer (enough so it won't burn the snake). Lay the box over the thin layer of substrate over the heat pad having the snake and appropriate sized prey (assuming you are feeding frozen) in the box. Have the box wedged in the tank so it is closed up and the snake can not escape. Good luck!
