I always like hearing people talk about less well-known queer identities :) At least you can say "lesbian". I'm kind of the opposite and I wish there was one solid word for "gay man".
I really liked the link you made between your sexuality and gender identity. They are very different but I think we have a tendency to overlook their distinct commonalities.
