Here's a crazy thought ... one that isn't likey to ever happen, or if it did, work out well (too many chefs, lol) but why not have 2 directors. Someone who can do comedy, and someone who can do action (o'course, one of 'em needs to understand the other aspects, but honestly, how many people can understand everything ... except maybe Whedon ... but does he REALLY know everything? I mean, could he direct porn? well ... maybe lol)

about the Bourne Identity ... I could make out most of what was going on. I'm also very familure with fighting techniques (which, o'course, to state the obviouse, makes it easier to make things out in a fight scene) Haven't seen all of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, have seen the beggining. A 'lil past the MMA gym scene where Pitt's char was working out. but I don't think the director is right for it, personally.

When I went to see the Bourne Identity we got to the theater two minutes before it started so we ended up sitting in the second row and the insane camera motions gave me a nosebleed. True story.
