Awesome! I was captivated right from the first moment until the end of the clip which is rare for me. I just couldn't take my eyes of the computer monitor. Touching message and great acting. Well done!
This was very touching and very much moved me to tears. Beautifully done. As a person who works in advertising and a Chinese American who lives far away from her parents, I greatly appreciated this and want to thank you for creating this captivating spot. Kudos!
@TheRealOChin I'm glad you liked the film. I felt it was time to remind people in China of things that are really important in life and Pepsi this time provided the perfect opportunity. Longer films like this are fast gaining in popularity and importance and that's good news for people like me and agencies alike.
This video resonates in my heart especially with my own children abroad and not able to come home for the New Year. To be captivated over 9 mins for an advert is a sterling performance!
@hanjokkwang Thanks Jok Kwang. Your children are but a call away, give them a call like the father in the film did, who knows, there might be a miracle! :)
this has to be one of the worst use of Joe Hisaishi's music yet,, I hope mr Hisaishi got paid enough for this.
i feel sorry for the director and the creative team behind this PoS, i'm sure y'all had better things in mind, but good old pepsi probably only wanted 3 things: stars, melodrama and music that makes ppl cry and this is what you came up with.
next time instead of getting stars, just pay Yau Nai Hoi to write your script and get Hanjin on music
@Yuiigurl Thank you for your comments and suggestions. FYI, Mr. Hisaishi took time out from a very busy recording session in Tokyo and personally approved the use of his music for this. However, it is not appropriate to publicly disclose how much was paid for its use.
There is no need to feel sorry for the director and the creative team, we are all proud of what we achieved under the circumstances.
I would appreciate if you could give me the contact information for Mr. Yau and Hanjin.
This mini movie will be broadcast in its entirety as a commercial on HKTVB Jade at 11:25pm on New Year's Eve and again on New Year's Day. The first ever 10 minute commercial in Hong Kong's broadcasting history.
Very touching & moving. =') Beautiful score from Mr. Joe Hisaishi, too. =D

虽然只是广告,但却让我看出了泪水。。。
导演巧妙的安排戏里的老爸把古天"乐"带回家,
新的一年, 理应快乐,但是,记得要回家过年。
祝你。。。新年快乐。
