Back when I liked the series (I only see a tiny bit of entertainment merit in the first book; the rest were horribly written with ridiculous 'plots'), I liked Rosalie best. Her story is horrible; her personality and bitterness understandable.
But, what I MUST ask is- why on earth are her eyebrows close to black? that was just lazy on the makeup artist's part.
Rosalie is a nice pretty girl inside and out she didnt want to become vampire, she wanted a happy life like every other person, she didnt deserve all that shit that guy put her through, atleast shes with somebody good now emmett.
Can I just say here that Rosalie is such a more well developed character than Bella? I mean she has a backstory contributing to her conflicting personality and despite she is not as pleasant to be with as Alice we can still feel sympathy for her.
@Chazz956 She was a new born, so she was "born" with the red eyes when Carlisle changed her, but as she started drinking animal blood rather than human her eyes changed to the amber/brown they are now. Hope I helped!!:)

Rosalie and Leah are by far my favourite characters. They don't have justice done to them, they're just portrayed as bitches and left it at that. Just like danceforeternity112, Stephenie Meyer doesn't really appretiate any other characters than edward, and bella. Rosalie had been raped by a man she though she could trust, that she loved and for eternity she will have to remember and live out that pain. Leah had also been betrayed by the people she loved and forever had to watch them together.

I feel like she's the most complex and loving character but she's also the most forgotten about. Right next to Emmett; She loves Nessie so much and no one really understands the life that she's suffered.

As much as I greatly dislike the Twilight series, I actually like Rosalie. One of the main problem I have with the Twilight series is that I find the supporting characters MUCH more interesting than the MAIN characters. Rosalie is a really much more complex character than that Bella.

I hate when people call Rose's character bitchy. Bitter? Yes, but bitchy? C'mon she was ganged rape by her fiance and friends and was forced to become a vampire. Whiny little Bella here wants to choose immortality without thinking of the negatives. I still can't believe this shit is PG-13; it'll be so much better R. And the three most complex characters- Jasper, Rose, and Leah- are way better than the superficial Edward and Bella.

Leah Clearwater and Rosalie Hale, are by far my favourite Characters, there lives arent perfect, Rosalie, has been raped by the man she trusted and left on the street, Leah has been heartbroken, and because of this pain she phased into a wolf, making her feel less feminine, and unable to have children

Rosalie and Leah are by far my favourite characters. They don't have justice done to them, they're just portrayed as bitches and left it at that. Just like danceforeternity112, Stephenie Meyer doesn't really appretiate any other characters than edward, and bella. Rosalie had been raped by a man she though she could trust, that she loved and for eternity she will have to remember and live out that pain. Leah had also been betrayed by the people she loved and forever had to watch them together.

@iRHAPEzombiies He wasn't selfish but he just didn't feel anything for Rose. She expected men's "worship." She would have gladly killed Bella because she was so jealous of her. She was jealous because Edward was the only man that hadn't wanted her and it made her mad. She had lovely Emmett but she's so spoiled that it doesn't count. Humans meant nothing to her. I didn't get why Rose even stayed with the Cullans until Breaking Dawn. Then her stubborness saves lives. THAT was her purpose.

@ryoubakura2001 she's not forcing her dreams onto Bella, she's trying to make Bella appreciate what she's got and have her understand that being a vampire isn't perfect. And that being human is a gift. Everything she tells Bella is true. There's nothing selfish in that.

As much as I greatly dislike the Twilight series, I actually like Rosalie. One of the main problem I have with the Twilight series is that I find the supporting characters MUCH more interesting than the MAIN characters. Rosalie is a really much more complex character than that Bella.
