  • Great bike

  • Very Nice Replica .

  • whats the deal were all cyclones yellow

  • I'd go with .090 or so.

  • Vanguards are tough engines. Built on the design of the Generac OHVI industrial engine.

  • wow this is the best looking bike ive ever seen one word sums it up. FOOOKING EPIC!!!!

  • Very nice bike

  • very nice sound ! ^^

  • es realmente una joya te felicito

  • Fuckin right on dude! This thing is so fuckin sweet, sorry for the anguage but damn man this thing want's to rip your face off! What a work of art. All your hard work and efforts are paying off in spades my friend. I really am inspired to build my own board tracker. I'm not sure how I'd go about getting it insurable and licenced but other custom builders seem to be able to build and insure about anything. Cheers, IC.

  • bad ass.

  • beautiful

  • now did you you buy the frame an build around it???

  • No I made the frame from scratch. .120 DOM tubing = overkill.

  • @dmar836 You say .120 DOM was overkill. What tubing would you recommend then? I'm just curious because I plan on starting my build soon..

  • You have a totally fun blog about the build! I followed it as you went along. Great engineer and mechanic! I want to build the same thing. Looking for a used Vanguard motor.

  • I love the old vintage boardtrack bikes!! This is how I would go about building one except I was looking for a 6.5hp setup. Good choice on the engine and drive!!! How fast did you get her goin?

  • difficult to build?

  • Yes.

  • The engine is a Vanguard V-twin. It's a Comet 40 with centrifugal clutch and variable ratio sheave in back. Hand-built frame. Info is in the blog.

  • What kind of engine is that? Is that a CVT tranny or just a centrifugal clutch? and lastly is that a self built frame or a bicycle frame?

  • That thing is WAAAYYY too cool man...I friggin love it !

  • a weird old bike and a starion, you sir, are an eccentric, keep it up

  • Very impressive! Respect!

  • In-freakin-credible, man! Congratulations. What a milestone in the build. Good job. And it don't sound too shabby either. Sounds pretty good actually.
