god damn it , where is your accent from ????????? Hate the way you prononce the "g" like german and the way you say "ij" it's so different or the "sch" ( I learnt brussels flemish by the way ) xD
dutch isnt easy it has a lot of grammer and is hard to get used to that is why only people who r born here can speak it correctly and on top of that we can also speak english where just so awsome :P
nederland is gewoon het beste land ondanks onze afmeting :P
'Geen dank' is niet hetzelfde als 'no thanks', eerder 'graag gedaan'. Wat is goedenavon-d ?? je mag alleen splitsen tussen lettergrepen, zelfde met goedemorg-en. Van mag iedereen spelfouten maken, maar niet wanneer je mensen iets probeert te leren.
@albertben there's a difference to "you're welcome" and "don't mention it". with "don't mention it" you're basically saying that whatever you have done wasn't a lot of trouble, and not even worth noting, while with "you're welcome" you are basically saying that whatever you did, did cost a little effort from your side, but you're accepting the "thanks" from the other party. it's a very subtle difference, but a difference nonetheless. you can usually just swap them with each other.
English isn't hard to learn.. And Dutch is Easy to.. (Dutch is easy for me because I am Dutch - Nederlands is makkelijk voor mij want ik ben Nederlands..) But English is Great and it's easy.. (Tis een Peulenschilletje ofzoow :P)
when you´re from germany or from Austria(me :D) then the language is so funny because it´s so similar. Eg.: Mijn naam is...(Mein Name ist... xDD) Waar woon je? (Wo wohnst du?) Ik woon in...(Ich wohne in...:D)
it gives me smile when the part "tot morgen" in nederlands, because in german tot morgen means "tomorrow die" :D so nice to learn and know many languages :)
dutch is weird... when you say waar woon je? if i change every word into english it doesnt any sense why je in the end? waar means where woon means live je mean you.....so its "where live you?"...im getting taken back by this i feel like giving up help!! lol
It would would be much easier to follow if you gave us the pronunciation of every single letter, I feel a bit lost this way, but I'm not gonna give up 'cause I really think that Dutch is such a beautiful language, quite close to English
Jag har förslag att gör gronare fon , eller hur? Nar läser på gul eller orange fon gör inte sakta...eller blå ok bra farg till fon och grön till bokstaver , tack
@MsDreaming8 The Dutch we speak in Belgium (called "Flemish") sounds not so harsh as Dutch (The Netherlands) and German, for example the "G" is pronounced more softly. It's the same language but just a different pronunciation of the words. U can compare it with "American' English and "UK" English. If you want to learn Flemish/Dutch you should watch these videos, they are really helpfull: Flemish for dummies
Im Norwegian and I have to say: It is easy to see that both Dutch and Norwegian are germanic languages. After sorting out the easier words like ''I'', ''you'', ''they'' and so on together with som beginner grammar, I can make sence out of every written sentence. Many of the words are actually the same as in Norwegian or english, either exactly or just with an extra vowel. Many Dutch words are actually more alike Norwegian words than German. I kinda want to learn this language now :D
thanks a lot man .. it will help me if u make video with the verbs like in english for example i'm you are he she is we are you are they are but in nedelands thanks greetings from bS-city

@Sy0592 it does have 2 meanings. the first is the same as the english "please". eg: can you please pass me the butter? / kun je me alstublieft de boter geven? The second meaning is when you give something to someone, in which case it can be translated as "here you go". If you break it down, "alstublieft" is actually composed out of 4 words: "als het u belieft". Meaning "if it pleases you" or "if it is alright with you". However this was used centuries ago and has contracted over the years.
Dutch sounds so funny, it always makes me smile whenever I hear it, because to me it sounds as if somebody can never decide whether he wants to talk english or german ;o)) But I really enjoy reading and listening to Dutch!
@videofreek112 Dat komt omdat jij al je hele leven nederlands praat vind je het gek dat het makkelijk is voor ons, maar kijk jij zulk soort filmpjes maar eens in het Chinees of weet ik veel in welke taal, dan vind jij het ook moeilijk ^o)
@videofreek112 Tering, jij bent knuppelig. Nederlands stond in 2009 in de top 5 moeilijkste talen van het Westen. Het is alleen makkelijk als je ZELF NL's of Vlaam's bent.

@ZoologischerG Dutch is harder than swedisch as far as I know, but it seems quite hard to make yourself reallly not understandable. Don't know about Swedisch though.

@WafikEgypt If you want to learn a specific language youre kinda biased, not? Also, Dutch is one of the hardest languages to learn, which I never heard of swedish. But what do I know?
@WafikEgypt i agree, it's all about dedication and the will to learn it. I'm brazilian and i used any studying source i could get to learn english at home (from games, to movies and music) and looking at dutch it is very similar to english in a lot of aspects. My girlfriend speaks german and i know a little bit myself and combining german with english it makes learning dutch easier. I think dutch is easier than german, except for the pronuncation which is harder in dutch for me.
@aedeling i agree dutch easier than german and for me coz im egyptian so all sounds easy for me i can spill any letter because our langauge "28 letters" have all the sounds u can find....wish u good luck guys...cya
