Interscope told J5 their music wasnt black enough (which shocked Akil) and Interscope want more Southern Jigga Boo style music in their album but J5 refused so Interscope dropped them. J5 asked Interscope to have the permission of using their group name as Jurassic 5 or j5 on their tour which is impossible because they got dropped and Interscope owns their group name and songs so that forced J5 to break-break-up.
