    :`(

His poetry is some of the best the world has to offer. He contributed a lot, so he can be peaceful.

  • Did I see Richard D James' face at 0:34?

  • Cohen will live forever. Luckily, humanity will not!

  • this song is great

  • OK, let's find the links between this song and this video.

  • @gamopam hahahaha! there are none! well done! LOL!

  • A few years ago, I read a news story about how Mr. Cohen's accountant basically made off with ALL of his money, retirement fund, the whole shebang. He's broke. He's also a fucking hero of mine. Whatever he may or may not be doing to gather a few shekels to put in his coffee can is fine by me. Given his practices as a Buddhist monk, I doubt that he aspires to live like a spoiled brat in five-star hotels. And, if he did, I'd be fine with that. Do we begrudge the sordid behaviors of Bukowski?

  • @burpo I second that..Bukowski was a real man and a poet. We are what we are ultimately. Just read that Tony Blair earns 12 million a year and pays 135,000 tax..????Hurrah for Socialism!. and Hurrah for Leonard Cohen and Henry Chinaski. Enjoy the music people. Im loving these new tracks by the way.

  • @burpo if only it were more legal to buy gold and keep large amounts of cash he wouldn't have needed an accountant, getting rich is a lot easier than staying rich i guess

  • You can't leave any comments on his website. Hes not interested in what you have to say.

He just coins phrases relating to fallen saits, love, lust , suffering, and the glory of the word.

I loved his work most of my life, but now seeing a different side of this profitier poet.

His concerts are $ 175.00 a seat, and he drives home in a limousine , to his five star hotel room, and passes the many more , few por less, that he left behind long ago on his way to becomming famous. It was a nice ride.

  • @Camus915 Interesting points, but you dont suggest what he should do about it? We all go home past the poor, sometimes just poorer than we are. But what to do?. Do we give it all up to help them? Do we just feel guilty? We are all complicit, we all turn a blind eye. They are complex points that you posit that cannot begin to be addressed here. Just enjoy the music dont try and analyze society on You Tube.

  • @Camus915 Everyone one is entitled to their views sorry but I disagree with you.. I would rather pay to see Leonard as he gives me pleasure I would rarther to this that have an idiot like Bono pay me to watch his useless talentless band. Why don't you give money to another less unfortunate that yourself seeeach and everyday.Sorry you have lost faith in one the few ARTISTS we have left.

  • Katherine Takawitha, virgin of the shores, God knows how far your moccasins were laced up.

God is afoot and magic is alive.

Its been thirty five years since I read Beautiful Losers, can someone correct me on the quotes please.

  • Amazing, none better to my mind than this extraordinary man.

    My next album purchase!

    Thanks
