  • The gaelic jig was great and Mrs. MacLeod's Reel ! I will always miss John Allan Cameron.

  • My cousin Dwayne Cote had performed and toured with John Allan Cameron for a brief time in the mid-90's.

  • John Allan was my mom's cousin and he was an incredible person and had a huge heart rest in peace

  • Call me crazy, but does anybody else hear the roots of "Southern" speech when the lady speaks at the beginning?

Throw in a banjo, mandolin and dtandup bass and this video could just as easily been shot in the Appalachian Mtns of east TN.

Nice to see others like myself with Cameron blood playing, singing and dancing.

    GREAT VID!

Now the world knows our Celtic music . He brought it back and I thank him . Rest in Peace J'nallan . DianeMarie ( Cape Breton Island )

  • Hi there! John Allan and I are related! Have you heard of Isabelle and Lenny Campbell? They're my grandparents. I had tons of family living in Cape Breton. Ellen Wells, The Fenechs and plenty more.

  • My Father(Malcolm Dewar) just told me the first time he went to Cape Breton he brought John Allan and his Mother back with him to Ottawa. Thought that was pretty neat.
