I will never watch an Andy rerun again... never did watch Matlock and always thought Happy Days was kind of stupid, especially in the later seasons. I will never pay to see another Ron Howard directed film. Mark my words: Barack Obama will go down in history as the president who, in his one term (please, God) did more damage to the USA and its future than all the others combined since 1789. Think I'm exaggerating? Just wait and see.
@williamanesbitt Why in the fuck did you even watch a rerun? Yes dumb fucker, they are stupid, just like perfect fat you. Your plea to your imaginary friend in the sky should be in the form of, oh, I don't know; "keep me away from a polling booth."
Time for this phony, Ronny Howard, to cease riding on his Opie/Ritchie image. This jerk is really a believer in a one world government. His cartoonish movies reflect his occult/ Global governance beliefs.
What would have been better another eight years of the GOP? Yeah right, get a life and some sense. When Obama pulls this thing out his objectors will only have something else to complain about.Lets face it and tell the truth most of Obamas distractors still have a problem with him being black and president plain and simple. Its the 21st century people cant you just be bold enough to say what you really feel?
The Andy Griffith show is still the series I love to watch...over and over...it's just that good.....You think his decision was bad..I voted for Blago.... once. Geezz...President Obama ....I'm scared but hopeful..and doing my part to fix the mess we ALL made.
CoryChiarelli: how long did it take you guys (americans) to get into this mess...you fucked it up and now want it to be changed over night...really?!?
How's that endorsement of Obama working out for you Mr. Howard? A near 10% unemployment rate, huge deficits, a ridiculous, pork-infested stimulus bill (that hasn't worked), and a foolhardy health care bill.
No it has worsen since he has taken office. He continues the work his family member (Bush and chaney) failed to do so ask yourself why obama is not doing the opposite.
Obama is releated to Bush, he may have said that no one can fix what bush has done but then why is Obama continueing the do the same things bush had planned??
Yeah.. one dollar of spending would have broken that record... but what more can you really expect when he takes office with two ongoing wars and an economy in the toilet. Truth is, folks want to complain about obama's spending, but where were they all when Bush was running up that deficit and getting nothing in return? When he set a new record for his first veto on a spending bill? Seems our debt only became a problem when a Democrat got into office.
@Estragon17 Your getting me wrong, I hate bush, as well as republicans. I think both partys are corrupt, it just kills me when I see one side, acting like they done any better in office. Yes he did inherit two wars, but has he done anything to pull us out? No now libya & yemen, are added to the list. Most people were uninformed, now they are getting informed, and they are seeing that bush was bad, and obama is just as bad.
@560licious Hahaha wow you are the poster boy for uninformed americans, and the 11 people who gave you a thumbs up stupidly. Before Obama got elected, he said he would have the deficit cut in half, before his first term was over. In no way did he say, what you said he did. Lie some more please? (:
Yawn. More cheese. A Beautiful Mind was a half assed representation of mental illness, with its sappy "and he lived happily ever after" ending. Total schlock.
Yay Obama's so great I bet Americans can't wait till the mandatory service program starts up, it's already on it's first legs here in Australia. First they make you do 100 hours of community service in year 12, then they'll change it to military training. We can all be like China yay for Obama.
The entourage of Obama is even more scary than that of Bush. Zionist Rahm Emmanuel who is Chief of Staff is the son of a well known terrorist. Just look it up on wikipedia. The ppl who attacked your country in 2001 are now firmly in the position of power. You americans give your most strong and healthy sons and daughters to fight an other countrys war. You ppl really are stupid.
I can still "vote with my feet." Remember the reaction Jane Fonda got with her "cuddle up" with the Viet Cong? Well, after this last election I decided to boycott big celebreties who had endorsed Obama in a big way. Unfortunately, this list includes Ron Howard and Tom Hanks, both of whom I respect very much for their work. Also Oprah and her sponsors. I won't PAY to see any more Hanks or Howard films. But I sure can enjoy them on cable (not pay per view).
It is impressive on two counts - one that President Obama has activated action from celebrities like Ron Howard, Andy Griffith, and Henry Winkler who usually tend to stay out of politics, and two that these celebrities were self depricating enough to do it how they did. Ron Howard is acttually one celebrity whose public persona matches his private one. Kudos.
You think Obama is bringing the "Change" that everyone wanted and since the answer is no what is he doing or not doing that you wanted him to because it is easy to say Ill bring change but now that he inacts policies people have to say they either agree or don't. Now that the campaign is over you cant just say you want change you have to eaither agree with everything he is doing or not.
That's just stupid on a couple of levels: "Do you think he is bringing the change that everyone wanted and the answer is no." Don't answer that question for me. For me the answer is yes I do think he is BEGINNING to change things. I also think it's way too early to judge. And finally I don't HAVE to agree with everything he is doing to like the guy. Finish school before you try to debate politics.
School is part of the problem. The students have been brainwashed with political propaganda. Most books in the library are infested with it. I'd rather trust the opinion of an illiterate than someone who's read a thousand books on politics. The rules of power are not made in politics.

It takes very little time to really mess things up. GWB had 8 years. Obama isn't going to undo it in 1 -2 years.
Obama has done what he can constitutionally (reach out to other nations, priorities of the military, transparency in executive branch)
needs congress for most of the things he wants (Gays in Mil, finance & healthcare reform, undoing NCLB, ....)
Even 3rd parties are offering more of the same.
I hate GWB gov, but some policies should not be killed outright.
