  • I'll stick with my sierra 168 grn bthp handloads for my 308 bolt gun ....

  • Wwb isnt bad but its dirty

  • Remington golden saber all day.

  • GREAT video, very informative, by the way, you have a great channel. Keep up the great work.

  • @MrMatchew44 Thanks for your support of the channel, it is a lot of work...

  • That was a awesome video! great job tom, i love that ammo even more now!

  • Winchester needs to make some Gold talons for your golden gun Tom lol..... that be siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick. I carry the ranger-T rounds in my Glock and I love how they perform.... the way the bullet looks after expansion........ it was nice knowing you bad guy.

  • I would have liked to use this in my son's Kahr p.380 but it FTF a lot in the Kahr .p380. Make sure you try a box though your pistol to see how it feeds before you buy a large supply of this ammo.

  • I work at a range i see a lot of issues with the white box. From what i have seen it is very dirty ammo. My confidence in Winchester is lacking. I am not a fan of the white box. I would tell my friends do not buy Winchester white box.

The PDX1 might be good. I like the sound or what that .308 PDX1 can do. If it preformed as stated that is awesome.

  • @glockman1727ak47 I have to agree. The Remington target bullets are my choice. They're also better feeding into 9mm guns because the bullets are a little shorter than the Winchester rounds. Issues galore in my new 9mm and white box.

  • @thatguy66ish What Gun where you shooting? and what issues? stove pipe? primer strike? all that jazz. Thanks for sharing with me.

  • @glockman1727ak47 Beretta INOX, 9mm. Taurus Pt99. The Remington side by side with the Winchester white box shows a clear difference. The Remington is s little shorter, which does lend itself to more reliable feeding. I had a chance to look right into the chamber of both a few years ago when I had the jams. Bullet length was possible. Stove pipes in the Taurus as well, but it was a lemon anyway. With shorter bullets, no more issues. Inox also requires a touch of grease.

  • @thatguy66ish The Taurus can be hit or miss. some are great so lemons like you say.

but when it is more than two guns having issues with the ammo. it is the ammo and not the guns. backing that up I have seen lots of issues with the ammo at the range different guns too. Do you shoot CCI blazer both brass or the aluminum case? I like CCI stuff.

  • @glockman1727ak47 My taurus was a lemon, as are most of them. I'll never buy another. The INOX was touchy at first, so if I have a finicky gun, I'll buy ammo to suit it. I haven't bought any CCI in 9, .40, or 45 lately, just in .22. How is it dirty wise? I finally took a dremel to the taurus after the new slide they sent me jammed and emitted a rusty dirtysubstance with breakfree sprayed into it. Now it's shooting good but I can't trust it.

  • @thatguy66ish The CCI is pretty clean. Clean shooting not a lot of smoke. I like it. Nothing like doing a little Dreamel work! Taurus seems like a gun you buy to abuse. on J &G they have revolvers for 150$ thinking about buying one.

  • Wow a 308 for personal defense!!! im so going to get me a g3 or fal...

  • I can tell you that the info that the FBI exclusively uses this is inaccurate, an immediate family member of mine is a special agent in NYC area and I shoot with him weekly, they are issued Federal Hydrashock for the G22, and 10mm MP5....not sure what they use in their M4's or 12g. I just see a lot of ammo companies claiming that they are used by the FBI....just bc the FBI maybe field tested some lots, is not the same as the FBI exclusively using it. As of 2 days ago agents are still using hyd

  • @igotjuice007 Thanks for sharing!

  • He said Long Colt not 45 Colt.

  • nice interview good info quick and informative just like i like it only thing that could have made it better would be if he had boobs

  • Great interview. I've always preferred speer gold dot. After seeing your interview, and seeing it perform in a video by mixflip I might make the switch.

  • Another great interview,it's like being at the show.

    God Bless,

    Elba

  • @elbacooks4u Everyone who enjoys Gourmet home cooked meals , should sub to this channel :)

  • @weaponseducation Thank you so much Tom.

    God Bless,

    Elba

  • @weaponseducation new to the channel great vids spent most of the day checking them out

  • Good topic/video, Tom.

  • In My opinion PDX Handgun ammo is overrated, Federal HST & Speer Gold Dots are in my EDCC handguns. View tnoutdoors 9 videos and become educated.

  • Thanks for the vid Tom! I would recommend 10 min. shot show interveiws like this next year though! Have a nice day!

  • Love Winchester

  • Thanks for the videos, I love your channel!

  • @DaltonFury7670 Thanks for your support, it is a lot of work to make these videos, I enjoy it, but I enjoy all of us together as one the best...

  • i half to ask i havent been able to find it anywear that m4a1 on the table how much? and is that the factory stock? i like the looks of the m14 and am thinking about a miny 14 but thats a sexy gun

  • That guy new his stuff for sure!

  • Excellent Video Tom!

    God Bless

    Semper Fi

  • I would love to see Tnoutdoors9 test some PDX1 loads.

  • Excellent Tom, as more and more people are getting their ccw license. Everyone is looking for info on personel defense. I shoot with leos and military and gold dots is truely the best for handguns. For long guns I favor this ammo.

  • I would not want to get shot with an M-14....on a lighter note, I use PDX1s for my 1911, they feed great

  • BTW I hate the Obama Ads, he has to go...

  • @weaponseducation which candidate are you supporting?

  • @southparkkid278 he likes Ron Paul

  • @weaponseducation lol I agree....I want him out...

  • @weaponseducation the best thing a person can do is watch and click on every obama ad they see and not on any of the ron paul ones, by clicking every obama ad we drive up his campaign costs and keep him form using that money elsewhere

  • @weaponseducation I agree, but I would prefer to have Obama in office as opposed to Gingrich or Santorum. I hope that Paul can win the election, and I'm holding Romney as my secondary candidate. Third would be Obama, because I don't believe that Gingrich has America's best interests in mind, and I don't think Santorum is fit to lead the Macy's Thanksgiving's day parade, let alone a country.

  • I would take gold dot's over this crappy ammo any day, I have seen test first hand, again just IMO thanks for the booth interview Tom.

  • Tom I believe this was one of the better interviews of yours from shot show. The representative knew his product and was confident in it. Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedual to keep the channel going. -Matt

  • @KURSSLEY Thank for noticing, Matt, I enjoy bringing quality videos to the gun community.

  • Man this guy really knew his product. I've had good results with PDX1

  • Tom, thank you for the great interview with this product. I have seen the other videos with the gel test and they look awesome if the work like that. I love the hornady critical defense ammo and I use it in all my guns but I will have to take a closer look at this. I am all for target penetration and not over penetration.

    Glock n Load,

    Mike

  • @videosbymike You always have something nice to say, thank you

  • LOL, i should have invented frangable ammo, but to late, and as kid i ran out of bbs for a 880 daisy pump riffle and used rabbit food, intresting that 10 pumps it went thru first side of pop can but fragmented inside. its true that rabbit food in some forms is .177 caliber

  • This video, as well as my own with Winchester has convinced me to change to PDX-1 for all my defensive ammo. Great video, thanks. I know what you do is hard work and I appreciate you doing all of this on top of your real job and family. Great job of balancing it all.

  • @Az1911fan Thank you for directing me to the booth, you were there!

  • 18-25.00 online is not a good price i can get winchester rangers +P+ for 16.00 a box PDX1 17.00 im talking about 9mm calibers tho.

  • Hi Tom. I can personally attest to the .410 PDX. I shot a mud puddle and holy moly, mud flew 15 feet in the air. WOW almost as impressive as a 12 guage. Serious Ammo! Thank's bro. R n' R.

  • @harpoclarx This is some wicked ammo!

  • Great video as always, but the PDX1 .38 ammo is AWFUL! tnoutdoors did 2 different tests with the ballistic gel and it failed to expand both times and completely went through the gel. It was my choice of carry before I stumbled upon those 2 videos, now I got with speer gold dot :) Disappointed to say the least with the .38 pdx1, DONT BUY IT

  • @steelcurtain41286 Speer Gold Dot is the best no question

  • Tom, great video and info. Did you see the Winchester Ranger ammo at their booth? They had some expansion results there. Damn that was some nasty stuff.

  • @todd2309 Yes, I have a bunch of it myself, it replaced the Black Talons...
