Hell yeah! I could see the Poshy Lulu's store at 1:04! It used to be a guitar shop called Daddy-O's Guitar Hospital... he's in downtown Carrollton now. I bought a really nice Peavy Strat copy from him back when he was located in downtown Villa Rica. Funny to see shit that I pass by everyday in a movie trailer.
Yup, I'm from Villa Rica and we would be detoured or have to wait while they filmed it in my hometown. I saw it at Arbor Mall on the big screen when it was initially released and it was hilarious! Walton Goggins is awesome.
Great Movie!! Just watched it last night on DVD. This movie blew my expectations away. I was expecting a dumb, low-budget movie.....and it was NOT....great acting! Great cast...Burt Reynolds makes an appearance. It's SO funny! You have to understand "southern culture" and Georgia "rural living" to get the humor, but I think most people will get a few laughs out of it! It had me hooked, right from the intro! The movie was filmed mostly in Villa Rica, GA -- a lovely small southern town!
