  • Was a pleasure to listen to you!

  • Hello.I know quite well the Hammond organs. If I can give you an advice, try to find a M series,M3 or M102 because the tonewheel generator is the same as the B3,you could be unhappy with the L series (I got two and selled them out, just kept the leslie)

I play now on a Nordstage (but the C1 is better)and I am really happy with it! you could also get a electro 2 for near 1000€ the sound is great, and you will get nice electric piano sounds and clavinet for the same expend! greetings!

  • @madpat50 That's... too late. If you check my later videos you will find out what I bought. Thanks anyway.

  • i believe i must tell the truth, an say things as they really are, but if i told the truth an nuthin but the truth, could i ever be a star, hey one of my favorite sof all time from fireball, great solo by ritchie too.

  • Hey...nice job! Definitely an overlooked goody and you did it justice.

    Is that a Hammond 'M' you're playing?

  • Nope, it's the cheapest Hammond clone - Viscount D9

  • cool dude !

    Get a roland Vk8...

    cheers!

  • Is that Korg CX-3? Great video!

  • Hi, it is Viscount D9 organ. It really sucks. Overdrive is crappy, as well as Leslie simulator, key click - they all sound really bad. And there's no Chorus, just Vibrato (useless for me). But I think it's the cheapest option for drawbar organ (I bought it for £100). The best Hammond clone is KeyB Duo but AFAIK its price is extremely high (£2799.00 inc. VAT) so I think I'll buy decent Hammond (L, T or M series) on eBay... sometime in the future :-)

  • It has different sound then CX-3 so I was little confused. Well, KeyB is really great clone but it is clone.:) I thing that M series is much better then L or T but why don't try with BV, B2, CV, or C2? They aren't so expensive but still have THE SOUND. ;)

  • @dstuhne

I'm a RT3 Hammond model owner (which is similar to the B3 and C3, it's of the same series). I should say that M3 and A100 is the best choice if you don't want to pay 3K USD for an organ (I bought my RT3 in mint condition for less than 1000 pounds. СV is an old model, no percussion. С2, B2 - no percussion and vibrato. So all they have THE SOUND only with good leslie (i have a brand new one from suzuki, sounds fine). But my recommendation is M3 - not-so-precious organ of Vincent Crane.

Moreover, I bought it in Russia) for 1000 USD. That really was a miracle)
