  • animals eating animal !!!

  • @soodgreenwich no please dont say that

  • "the process of buchering an elephant is facinating"......yeah right!

  • @tito5000 It is kind of is interesting to see how it's done in the bush.

  • this is hard work

  • elephant ribs look bomb

  • How did people do this before tractors

  • EVERYTIME I SEE SHIT LIKE THIS I THANK GOD TO BE A AMERICAN

  • @mayimbin stop viewing these vids then...just a suggestion. Maybe vids such as war, torture, obesity etc could be right up your alley...you know being an american an all....

  • I adore elephants and am NOT a supporter of sport hunting. However I understand the need for food. As you said nothing is wasted. If an animal must die that is the way it should be. The other video of the mercy killing made me aware that not all hunters are uncaring. Your words of it not being for sport were amazing.

  • @CatpurrRobertaBobbi There are also significant fees involved and much of that money goes to wildlife management and preserves. It sounds cruel on the surface but in really poor areas these hunts feed people and provide funds to preserve them for future generations. Given the general state of countries in Africa they manage to do a surprisingly good job with wildlife management and that is due to the money provided by hunters. One hunt can pay several park rangers for a yr or more.

  • Hey Buck, what are the rules concerning the tusks? Are you able to keep them as a trophy or are there laws against taking them home?

  • @Mako561 The meat went to the tribe. The tusks and skin etc: belongs to the hunter.

  • cool as fuck

  • That meat looks delicious. How long does it last the villagers?

How often do you hunt elephants? Do you hunt any elephant in sight or are there rules on which elephants you can hunt? Like only males or females etc?

Do other elephants in the herd try to charge at you when you shoot them?

    This looks fun, man!

  • What was the purpleish liquid that came from the tusks

  • @RedmanOutfitters That would be marrow Im fairly certain.

  • @RedmanOutfitters i think it was some brain

  • @RedmanOutfitters That jello like substance that pored out of the tusk is the nerve of the trunk. The size of the nerve often factors into the final weight of the ivory.

  • @BuckMcNeely

What does the meat taste like?

  • @filmftw3 We had a stew of the meat from the cheeks. The meat is dense but tasty. In the bush meat is meat. LOL.

  • @RedmanOutfitters The nerve of the tusk

  • i wonder how the elephant tastes like! i wanna try now

  • Hope they didn't meet a group of lions :P

  • Buck ? do you know how thick the skin from a elephant is ? i would like to know if it could be possible to make leather from it to make knife sheath or something.

    - hans

  • @hanzithaking It's about an inch thick. They shave it down to a workable thickness. I have several items made from elephant skin. It's a beautiful, durable leather that will outlast me.

  • @BuckMcNeely ok thanks for the reply.

  • i did this in my backyard the other day
