@RapidPaco The NFL called it a legal hit after the game. Cassel was going for Welker, and Clark knew Welker was the primary target and was going to jack him up anyways. Clark was hitting with his shoulder and never hit Welker's helmet. Therefore, all signs point to a legal hit.

Not saying that Clark couldn't have let up, but you can't blame him for getting in the mode and laying down a perfectly timed huge hit. Just doing his job to make sure it wasn't caught. Very little time to react after the deflection.
