@twilightfan0fedward You're just not hitting the right frequency. Howling dates back to when wild dogs lived in packs & howled to find their pack, like wolves and coyotes do today. Each pack had their own specific frequency or tone. When a dog hears that particular frequency, howling is like a reflex. The frequency for some dogs is in a common range, while for others the frequency is outside our range of hearing. Mine won't howl to sirens or my voice, but howls to Chinese flute music.
