You make me want to get out my hard Irish dance shoes and do a reel. Sadly though, I'm afraid my mask would fall off... that and I can't remember any dances I learned three years ago.
The dancing and masks just make you look plain silly and deduct from the validity of your cause. If you have a legitimate cause then ACT LEGITIMATE, not like a bunch of clowns. Random body gyrations while wearing masks, truly the weapon of choice against "evil cults".
No, not because I say so, but because without legitimacy, it begs the question of your TRUE cause. While claiming to be "concerned" about a "dangerous cult" your actions suggest you are more interested in harassing people for fun than legitimately "saving the world" from this "dangerous cult". Why to you harass the very people you claim you are there to "save"? "Why do we need to be legitimate?", I guess the best response to that statement is BECAUSE SOCIETY DEMANDS IT.
If society really had any demands then we wouldn't have a need to protest. Amirite?
I wasn't aware that dancing in the street and giving out information could be considered "harassing people". Learn something new everyday.
But here is where you sophistry really fails:
We are not asking people to take us at our word or because we are, to use your word, "legitimate". We are asking people to listen to what we say and to check it out for themselves.
I walked by this.. briefly spoke to a few protesters. Not one of them had any basic knowledge of Scientology which I thought was quite odd. I did hear that people who donated money years ago were still receiving letters. I gave money to Concern 12 years ago and i'm still receiving letters! So? I'm not in support of religious groups however if your gonna protest shouldn't you at least know something about the religion...to pass on to your average passers by like me. don't you think?
>>Not one of them had any basic knowledge of >>Scientology which I thought was quite odd.
I find that quite odd too since the protesters who talk to the public seemed to know their stuff in my experience. Whom did you talk to?
A small point on semantics here - we are not protesting a religion. We are protesting an organisation that scams people and uses the claim of being a religion as a shield against scrutiny.
If you have questions and are about on Dec 13th ask me (I have very long hair).
So the scientologists are making the purchase of the book "The Complex" harder - doesn't surprise me at all, the cowards. Did they think that by making the book hard to find that people won't know the truth about their criminally convicted UFO cult? Deluded liars and cowards. All they've done is make people want the book more and have shot themselves in the foot once again.
Loved the dancing and "Where's Matt" dancing and out-takes.

>>If you have a legitimate cause then ACT >>LEGITIMATE
Why? Because you say so? Because it isn't the norm for such protests? Because it's out of the ordinary?
"My, I was going to be worried about that dangerous cult across the road but I won't because they are non-traditional."
It does help to highlight the absurdity of the cult calling us cyber-terrorists and communist-nazis tho.

great video:Dkeep dancing, but how did they get amazon to not sell the book?
laladiel 3 years ago 2
Dunno, but anyone who pre-ordered The Complex got an email from Amazon saying it was pulled 'for legal reasons'
IrishAnonymous 3 years ago
sort of odd. thank you for the quick reply.

A revolution without dancing, is a revolution not worth having.
dennist3hmenace 3 years ago 5
The cult stifles free speech by having "The Complex" yanked from amazon. You gonna take that?
Hell no!
