I'm in the worst physical condition of my life and got exactly 3:00 minutes. I've had all kinds of test done in the hospital and they said I have huge lungs. I suppose that's a reason I've always excelled at distance running. Once I get back in shape I should be able to hold for at least 4:00 minutes and I'll record it on video for YouTube.
Just 1 Q? how did your friend manage to hold his breath as long as you? was he wearing a snorkel or something, cause 1.30 is like average but most guys don't even top or reach that! I know cause I tried something similar with my ex help but we have 50 secs cut offs cause he couldn't pass that time limit underwater.
one good trick is to wrap your arms around your legs around your blood points on both arms and legs so it cuts off circulation so it keeps it at your heart and lungs and brain therefor you can stay longer

Not good, you need to calm down one hundred %. You should do deep stomach breaths at least 3 min before.
Your last inhale was with the upper lungs only which is cca. 50% of your capacity...and so on and on...
