That's amazing, at the beginning you're singing "When the foeman bares his steel"!!! I was just in Pirates of Penzance, I was one of my daughters. One of my best friends was a policeman though
man i dont know how igot to your channel but imglad i found it, you really remind me of the great Charley Chaplin in some way, thanks and peace to you
Wow, quite interesting look at the behind the scenes. I always thought that you guys had professional makeup artists to get you ready. I wish I lived in Seattle so that I could come and watch the finished product in person.
Some large production companies do have proffesionals, but typically local community theater cannot afford it, you have to buy your own makeup and put it on yourself.
Good Pirate makeup job. We used to use Noxema to remove stage makeup in plays, with good success. Have a fun time, hopefully more images of the production to come. ;-)
You might need to remove the bulk of the makeup with cold cream and tissues before washing your face -- dish soap is going to strip your skin a lot! (If the cold cream seems too expensive for your budget, you can use vegetable shortening instead!)

I wasn't sure how to do it either, I'm not really sure if I am doing it correctly or not really. I think it looks ok from a distance.
