Not possible. This is stoner TV. If humans were hunter/gatherers in 8,000 BC, there's no way they could have been organized enough to build something this large. It would have taken hundreds, if not thousands of workers to build something that large. And as with the Egyptian pyramids, you would need slave labor to pull it off. Looks very manmade and the dating is probably accurate. This is just an opinion, but I don't believe carbon dating is very accurate, however I could believe this to be about 8000 years old. I'm not an evolutionist and this is part of the problem I have with the evolutionary timeline. How could neanderthals or other "primitive" humans create such intricate structures? I dont think its a building unless a lot is missing. Which wouldnt make a lot of sense to me. I cant make out one stair for example. To me it looks like a site where stone slabs had ben cut out for buildings at a different place.
Remember, the area this structure is located, was submerged for 10,000+ years at the very least. These structures could literally be 100's of thousands of years old, there is no way to tell.
Imagine the erosion from all of those years...this literally could have been some kind of city. Since it is literally impossible to date stone, there is no way to tell how old or what in the heck this may have been.
More resources need to be allocated towards finding out.

Not possible. This is stoner TV. If humans were hunter/gatherers in 8,000 BC, there's no way they could have been organized enough to build something this large. It would have taken hundreds, if not thousands of workers to build something that large. And as with the Egyptian pyramids, you would need slave labor to pull it off. There's no record of that type of leader in Japan that far back. I'd like to see "mainstream" scientists take a look at this with modern equipment just to disprove it.

Looks very manmade and the dating is probably accurate. This is just an opinion, but I don't believe carbon dating is very accurate, however I could believe this to be about 8000 years old. I'm not an evolutionist and this is part of the problem I have with the evolutionary timeline. How could neanderthals or other "primitive" humans create such intricate structures? I have my own problems with evolution itself, but the timeline is what these explorers and other researchers usually use. Looks like you are right in not being able to carbon date rocks, so I apologize for that. I guess then I'd like to know how they dated it and while I'm not going to start a religious debate, I do believe there was a global flood at some point in history. Again, my opinion.

Remember, the area this structure is located, was submerged for 10,000+ years at the very least. These structures could literally be 100's of thousands of years old, there is no way to tell.
Imagine the erosion from all of those years...this literally could have been some kind of city. Since it is literally impossible to date stone, there is no way to tell how old or what in the heck this may have been.
More resources need to be allocated towards finding out.

@likmabitz its not that we dont know yet, we probably will never know...most things that matter have been kept hidden from us...all of our history is made up.
see what you have learned as history at school...close your eyes and vision it at a cinema..they have literally wrote a movie and called it "our history"

@likmabitz There's substantial evidence that current homo sapiens sapiens did not directly evolve from middle paleolithic homo sapiens alone. Difference in dental features between asians and nothern europeans show cross breeding with neanderthals, and we know that neanderthal tools have existed way beyond the last ice age. First Australopithecine tools have been estimated to be millions of years old, although very primitive.

@likmabitz Current humans are the only homo genus to survive the ice age 10k years ago (although by then, there were only homo neanderthalensis and homo sapiens sapiens), and pro biblical lobbyists are doing everything they can to negate that modern humans are in any way related to other previous bipedal hominids.
