@TruthSolace i like the idea of no bit and no shoes. we only have one horse with shoes. he foundered(not sure thats spelled right) really bad when he was young. but the farrier that we started using about 6 years ago has been working with his feet. he has gotten it so the horse only has shoes for a couple of months before it starts getting nice out. then he spends the rest of the year with out them. the horse is happier and we are all happier. very thankful for are farrier he work really hard.
I rode my horse for many months in a bitless bridle and he loved it! he went very well in it and was able to relax through his back more. I'm training a gelding now in a sidepull and he is doing incredibly well. The only reason to accustom him to a bit will be in preparation if he goes to another owner.
I have been hearing about how well side pulls work on horse alittle sour on the bit. Just shared this video with my friends. I love the style with the braided rawhide noseband. Thanks for the info!!
I enjoy watching these videos. They are so informative. I seem to learn something each time. I was not familiar with the side pull bridle and this video gave me a lot of information!
Yes ! Wake-up everyone = You dont need Shoes or Bits and all training should be Natural ! ;)

A sidepull is not the same as bitless bridle.....not even close...research it

Thanks for your interest! You are correct there are many versions of a bitless bridle.... Our sidepull is as simple as a bridle without a bit.
