I love her technique, but I must say her overall musicality is always strained for me. Somewhere between the tone and the feel..it gets lost. I'm sorry..MHO

i feel one should play every piece of music from the soul with heart,i think this rendition displays little to that effect,quite clunky and tonaly muddy.its one of those examples of "not learning the notes.....but learning why they are important to be played".thankyou for your enquiry,i hope ive been of some assistance.p.s. im not just trying to rag on jennifer batten,i think she is quite accomplished in theory knowledge,she just shows the classic signs of a lick-learner/showoff

Strange... I see no mention on simple Google searches of Jennifer playing Parker Fly electric guitars, only Washburn electrics and a Parker Fly acoustic. This video must catch her trying new gear???
