  • Burma in soulsplit

  • We will not be in mercy of China. Just stand by and doing nothing while China thinks its can run this show itself is the apeasing to China. I believe this is matter of "will" on our part.

  • China not happy ??? I do not think that with all the diplomatic support from Chinese and the money they dole out (its easy for them to buy a couple of goons in milirary garb than win over real leaders) it may well be another Rwanda or Darfur.

Why dont we start exposing these Burmese and Chinese diplomats (UN or otherwise) with cameras and Bullhorns and reverse their own "We have your pictures.. we'll get you"

  • Thanks for the post

  • China MUST DOO something otherwise people and the athletes WILL BOYCOT the Olympic games.

  • Any athletes who boycot the games will simply be replaced. No major country would boycot the games because they don't want to risk their good relationship with China.

  • Maybe true there.

Let's hope they will do something and not be always negative.

    OneWorld

    OneLove

    Peace

  • That one world slogan is being peddled by the most powerful, deceitful people in the world. They call it The New World Order, and it is anything but peaceful.

  • OneWorld is the one we live in.

    OneLove is the universal feeling.

Peace is what we should look fore in life to find it.

  • I looked at your YouTube homepage and I understand what you are saying. I agree with you but, in this country we have to stand up for what we believe in a strong way. Engaging those forces is dangerous, but necessary. The monks in Burma clearly understand that. As he said, "engagement not apeasement."

  • I hope so too.

  • Burma's being covered in the News because they are having PRO-DEMOCRACY PROTESTS that ended in bloodshed and violence, followed by man-hunts for Buddhist Monks (of all people) and a large majority of this was CAUGHT ON VIDEOTAPE.

    Video = visual proof/entertainment = News

    --------------------------------------

THis isn't the first time there have been protests in Burma. It happened in the 1980's as well. Thousands were killed and wasn't shit shown on the news.

  • The question is, why Burma all of a sudden being covered in the news? Follow the money trail...

  • Well, is it really being covered? Also, what are you implying when you say "follow the money trail"? Is there some corporate interest in Burma- of all places?

  • What do you think? Are you willing to research the topic? I can't spoon feed everything, you got to find out for yourself.

  • Alright, that's a respectable position but maybe I don't have as much info. on this topic or am a little out of the underground loop, so to say. Why not enlighten me with your knowledge?

  • Unfortunately, I have do my own research, but I tell you this, when other news organizations cover a story, sometimes it's a mixture of sensationalism and journalism to gain rating. But when "American" news agencies cover the story, YOU KNOW, there's got to be something more than a few "valorous" monks demurring the officials.

  • Is this a continuation of the NWO? If China is their last hope, what hope is that?
