  • How did he ever think this should be cut? I don't think it's out of character for the Little Tramp... he's still in the same clothes despite his money, and the Tramp has accepted poverty many times for noble reasons but it's always been clear that if he came to a tub of butter, he'd jump in! And I kinda like the idea that there's an actual man simmering under that get-up. It really shows here.

  • @Bmayo27 Thank YOU for putting this up! :)

  • *heart breaks* I love him....

  • Thanks for uploading. I love this ending, so romantic!! :-)

  • @Bmayo27 indeed they do. it's almost documentary for the feel of bein natural and no acting at all.

  • @Bmayo27 Ok good :)

  • @Bmayo27 awww :( Okey dokeeeyyyy. There's no scenes cut out besides that ending?

  • @CharlieChaplinsAngel there are a few significant changes. for example the addressee of the letter that georgia writes near the end: she sends it to jack and not to the tramp. i find her much more 3-dimensional in the 1925 version.

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you!! It was really worth of waiting! :)

    Amazing...

  • I've never seen the one without the narration, do you have the whole thing?

  • although i much prefer the '25-ending to the '42, it still cannot compete with the heartbreaking ending from city lights. that one get's the tear duckts flowing every time.

  • Yeah......no words.....simply amazing!

  • I love that kiss at the end <3

    Thanks for uploading!
