@ggdshack hi, it is a Sigma Martin guitar, a cheaper Martin guitar. I bought it used 15 years ago in Holland and it sounds really great. I have no idea what kind of wood. I didn't use an amp, it's just the mic. Thanks man!

I am blown away each time I listen! Great job! One might guess that's a Martin you're playing, but several other guitar makers use a similar headstock. Is it a Martin? A D-18 or a D-28 perhaps? Are you plugged into an amp or are you simply playing into a mic? My curiousity is killing me.

Perhaps the very best version of this song with the possible exception of The Dixie Chix live rendition on VH1's Storytellers (not their studio version).

Natalie Mayne's vocals are haunting. Trevor's voice is certainly comparable.

What do you mean with dual tracking? I am not cheating in any way. I recorded the voice and guitar at once. The audio also goes into my computer. I polish the sound a bit and then mix the video and the audio together.
