The annotations work the same as they do for all YouTube videos that have them added: mouseover the arrow in the bottom-right corner of the player to turn them off or back on again.
well didnt mean to be negative yours is a great video you used alot of scences i would have never thought of and a few ive never even seen before like the where next to the big blue light and theres three of him what episode is that ? but i dunno i wasnt tryn be negitive or a poor sport speacally to a fan of my favorate charactar i guess i missed it i was watchn it rather late .
Well, no harm done. Btw, that ep you're talking about was Season 1, "We'll Always Have Paris". You can see all the eps I used for each scene, by checking out my Episode Identifier version for this episode (should be the video response on the left above; the one on the right, being a subtitled version).
That may be your personal opinion, omega8423. I did look at your video and found you set the tone for it right in the first few frames. Yours celebrates his death as a hero, where as mine, I feel, better celebrates his life and his search for humanity; the song I've chosen is perfect for that. Given the theme of your video, your song was a perfect choice as well. But to put down this video by simply saying it doesn't fit, because it focuses on a different theme than yours, is poor sportsmanship.
This is much better than most mash-ups I've seen, and really shows just how talented Brent Spiner is. This is a man who should be getting Emmy- and Oscar-worthy roles, and it's a damned shame he isn't.
Don't see how it fits to Data??? Were you listening to the lyrics of the song even? Watch my 'Sing-a-Long' version and read the lyrics of the song as you listen and watch the scenes match up. The song is absolutely perfect for Data. I don't think you could get a better one that's not specifically about him.
1993 you say? Did you happen to show this at a Star Trek con in New Jersey back in like 95 or 96? Because if so, this is the first Star Trek fan vid I remember EVER seeing.
No. This is one I did myself recently from using the DVDs as source. I originally made it with two VHS machines and episodes taped off the air back in the fall of 1992. I was however inspired by the one I'd seen at the Trek cons.
Awesome! I always thought the video would be superb with DVD quality material. The only thing that is kind of distracting though are the laser sounds and everything you made audible. Regardless, I love it.
Ever since i heard this song i always thought it would be perfect with Data. He is my favorite Star Trek character and i found this to be a delightful video for him. Domo arigato!
This was REALLY good... i love when Data says "Goodbye, Data" It cracks me up every time!!!

Love the song, really fits well, even though the lyrics don't describe him exactly. Data is most definitely my favorite character ever!
(Oh, and on a side note, Spiner as Noonien Soong is HOTTT!)

My videos were never seen at conventions, but they were inspired, and this one in particular, by ones I had seen at creation conventions.

The 1st video response above identifies which episode each clip comes from in this video.
The 2nd video response above is subtitles, useful to catch all the words in the song, or if you want to sing-a-long.
