All i remember of this show is screaming 9 9 9 everytime it came on a kid getting its finger stuck in a plug hole and a guy dying from smelling glue from a womans toilet sign. that is all, thank you and good night

The only reconstructions that I am aware of can be found here on YouTube. This was the only one originally, but luckily it has spurred some people to upload their own. However, I think there may only be 3 actual reconstructions on YouTube.

999 was a superb educational and informational programme. very well done, and when they brought in mark cass to reconstruct cars in water, and that kind of thing, was brilliant also. and paws up to sean who survived the glider insident. yes I remember watching that one too.

I watched to watch this programme religiously in the 90s mum and dad started to let us watch it when they released it was good education. I remember there was a girl trap between two walls in one of the shows that was scary and the one where the house blew up that gave me nightmares! Oh there was always a fireworks special around Nov 5! LOL.

Bring back the 90s best decade!! LOL.

Yeah, I wish they had re-runs. It's weird because, although the last episode aired on January 14, 2003, I don't seem to remember ever seeing this show, and I was watching BBC One since at least 1996, so I'm surprised I can't remember ONE single episode. <___< At least we get episodes of Rescue 911 (the US version, of which this is clearly based) here on Zone Reality (Virgin Media Channel 146) but... I WANT 999 AS WELL :(

I remember watching 999 from the age of 5, it always scared me, especially the theme music, yet I was always fascinated by how people got into accidents etc. I'll always remember one eppy where this girl got trapped between two narrow brick walls and when a girl's long hair was being sucked in by the drainage thing in a swimming pool. I had completely forgotten that but reading your comment brought the memory back; her hair was trapped and they couldn't cut it with scissors, so eventually they had to use a knife and tear her hair off!
