Buddy is one lucky pup. i agree that he may have been shot by someone who thought he was harassing their livestock. this is why people should not let their dogs roam, or dump them off.
Nice dog could have been shot by a farmer if he was on his land it happens all the time over here your dog gets loose farmer thinks its hunting his sheep or whatever and they just shoot them you have to be real carefull over here because the farmers have a legal right to do it if the animal is on their land .you did such a great thing for Buddy you should be given a person of the year award

Both strays and Buster, the Pit Bull is now about 16 years old. He was 2 when I found him & straving to death. He is now chubby and a bit spoiled. Blackie, the Lab was wondering lost and dragging a wire lead when I found him. He was in bad shape and now he is a bit chubby and spoiled too! They both sleep with me and are my best friends!

I have a four year old male Pitbull named Bruno. I love him so much, he's my baby. Everybody is always telling me how one day he'll turn on me, but I know he won't. I have raised my dog with love and care. He lives with my Mum and I and our two cats. He licks them, plays nicely with them, and protects the house as well as the cats, my Mum, and I. He's adorable, energetic, loving, and loves to be around people. It breaks my heart when I read stories of animal cruelty. :( Great video. Props to you
Animal cruelty disgusts me - it's not hard to see why I prefer animals to people. You're good folks for taking care of Buddy, if only there were more stories like this, unfortunately, the collective mentality of the worlds population seems to be worsening and we hear about the cruel far more than we do the compassionate.

It inspired me also :) im (under 13) and i wish animals can live in harmony and so can humans. I cant believe what people do to animals :( they are humans also I hope your dog stays with you forever :) but if he does pass away :( he will see you in heaven :D

You made so much for this stranded soul and seams like he's paying back with all the love and care he can give. He matches there, in your family and he belongs with you. God bless you for all your financial and mental efforts to save someone in such need. Too few people are thinking this is worthy. Most of them are naming this as a waste of time and money. I Hope someday soon the person who abused and shot him will suffers a simular fate but find no help. That person better hope they never run into me! All the bad things that happen to people everyday should happen to people like that! But unfortunatly they dont. Sometimes life just dont seem fair? Thank god for people like you!

@blueslayer22 whats the difference, even if we eat them we should try to minimise their suffering as much as possible. Livestock should be killed with as little hurt as is possible, they feel pain just as much as 'pets'.

I have a four year old male Pitbull named Bruno. I love him so much, he's my baby. Everybody is always telling me how one day he'll turn on me, but I know he won't. I have raised my dog with love and care. He lives with my Mum and I and our two cats. He licks them, plays nicely with them, and protects the house as well as the cats, my Mum, and I. He's adorable, energetic, loving, and loves to be around people. It breaks my heart when I read stories of animal cruelty. :( Great video. Props to you

Animal cruelty disgusts me - it's not hard to see why I prefer animals to people. You're good folks for taking care of Buddy, if only there were more stories like this, unfortunately, the collective mentality of the worlds population seems to be worsening and we hear about the cruel far more than we do the compassionate.

I'm so glad to hear of such an amazing recovery! He's a beautiful dog, and it really pulls at my heartstrings hearing stories like this. So glad there was a happy ending, I've been hearing lots of animal cruelty lately, absolutely disgusting and no happy endings :(
