@Japansepuppy2481 in a lot of ways the theory of music is just like math. Just like iacobiacobpenquins says, it's about the distance between notes etc. It also contains a lot of counting.

You also use intervals (the distance between set notes) and therefore subtraction is a part as well. Patterns are a part of the sheet music too. The part of your brain that does mathematical problems is the same part that does music.
Reid is so Amazing with kids, because of his mother., but he is going to find a girl that likes him and that he likes and is going to be an amazing father. But if his kids are like acustic or have something wrong with them. He will still be able to communtcate with them. Hes soooo sweet and cute. i <3 Reid!! :)
My mom cried when she watched this with me. I think it was because it brought back lots of memories of raising me (I'm autistic as well). Watching the episode Coda brought back some memories of a distant cousin who has autism when I was like 15 or 16. He used to panic whenever he was being approached by other people and won't let anyone near him and would cry a lot. I was the only one he lets to play with though he has difficulty speaking or just won't talk. And everytime I was leaving he would start to look very uncomfortable and tears flow down his cheeks and hug me. Coda makes my heart melt and miss my cousin

I think this is now for me anyway, officially number two on my list of my favorite and most adorable, sweetest Reid moments ...EVER. Right behind the end of Memoriam, and the final scene of him holding Henry. Sammy taking his hand like that, just so cute..aw.
Those two scenes throw part of the Reid Effect right out the window, imho. I never really thought much of that theory,lol...and come on, seriously, how could anyone NOT like him?

@CoHOCD You know when I first started watching a few years back,via dvd sets and A@E reruns, I kind of thought our junior g man was annoying, spouting off all those facts on and on in those first few episodes. Yes, I must be temporarily nuts back then,lol. It became THE main reason I adore him so much. How he just goes randomly into his 'Reid mode' as I call it, and is so animated, awkward and damn adorable doing it. He does look so much different back then, like a teen or something! :)

And the left starts off as: B, D, F#, G and repeats, but then it changes to something else which I'm still trying to work out myself! Maybe try the rest by ear? Hope this helps!
It's kind of weird that rossi asks "I didn't know you could play, Reid" When Reid plays the scale. You don't need to be musician to play the scale on a piano
I love the way he says "Yeah!" when Sammy hits the yes note his face and the way he says it is too cute and when Sammy puts his hand on the piano for him to play it is too cute :) He is so going to be an AWESOMESAUSE dad :D
