Nice post. Ive had Type 1 for 23 years now since the age of 10 and finally started the pump yesterday. I feel for these young kids dealing w/ type 1 diabetes.
You are a wonderful brother!!! My daughter was diagnosed when she was 8 and her older sister is really involved with her diabetes too. You did an excellent job showing the obstacles that your brother faces. I'm sure it means the world to him to have you by his side.
@rickzach My daughter was diagnosed at 8 also. She is now 9. I got diabetes at the age of 11 months old. Type 1 diabetics are only 5-10% of all the diabetics in the world. It is one thing to deal with it everyday your self but it takes a whole new meaning when you child has it. I was told when I was a boy that they will have a cure before I was a adult. Well they still don't and are no closer. I will never tell my daughter that there will be a cure but for her sake I sure do wish there was.
this is a great video. have you thought about getting the animas or the pod? they both have very easy to use and read screens. they also have a remote so you can give insulin upto 9.84 feet away with animas and 2 feet away with the minimed. I have used the omnipod for nearly 3 years I loved it but my insurance will stop covering it in february because it is switching to fidelis. I will be getting the animas ping. great video it really show a piece of what we go through

I love that Sean's brother narrated this video. It makes it more personal than a spokesperson for JDRF doing it.

Great Job! As an adult with Diabetes it is amazing how your video reminds my adult brain how important it is to keep up with it. Well done and thanks
