The only possible argument is whether it plays as much a role in determining temperature as we are told. Unless of course you believe any scientific information ever presented on this topic is a big conspiracy lol. Yes sunspots do cause slight change, as do other factors. Read up on information (from both sides) and decide for yourself.

Last year there was a few cases i have read about where power plants slightly reduced output during earth hour. If it gets big enough it actually would have a little impact lol but its more just to symbolise awareness.
