To those watching this video and are too young to remember, Conrail WAS a real freight train company, but was bought out by both Norfolk Southern and CSX in the late 90s. The Conrail trains use to run on the railroad next to the home I grew up in. Loved those blue locomotives when I was a little girl, and now they're gone. :(
I'm going to buy models like these for a personal collection I plan on starting really soon.
Call the TV camera crews....and the FRA. So tell me, are there any survivors on the crew? That'll teach that HO scale engineer not to be texting his girlfriend while driving his train!

If that train speed was ratio matched to real life scale, it would be faster than a high speed monorail train. No wonder it crashed. And no wonder no insurance is needed for model train crash coverage because after the crash they come out like nothing happened.
