@supernalyd3 Green screen would be by far the easiest. You could also rotoscope out the actor frame by frame but that would be extremely time consuming.

cool.. im farely new to fce but i dont understand how to get sound effects.. can anyone help? in imovie, there were lots of built in sound effects.. i cant find them in fce.. thx in advance for any help

really simple, open FCE and imovie at the same time, you can simply drag and drop the sound effects files from imovie into the FCE files window.

nice tutorial! is there a way to just make a portion of the clip line art and leave the rest as is?

Simply use the eraser tool to cut the clip at the point you want it to stop and on this new clip remove all the line art attributes. or just use keyframes to transition it out, thanks for watching!
