Oxide: Is a CHEAT CODE

Penta Pinguin: You CAN cheat but the normal way is okay too: Beat all N.Tropy Ghosts is how to unlock N.Tropy and beat all N.Oxide is how to unlock PENTA PINGUIN, not NITROUS OXIDE...

You can check and answer then....

@HeikoGuidoNico I think naughty dog couldnt do a big character (nitros oxide) so that's why penta penguin can be unlocked beating time trial. Penta = Oxide

Oxide was in fact originally intended to be implemented as a playable character, but due to unknown reasons (probable technical difficulties cuz he's too big for the game to handle as a playable character), the developers decided to leave him out of the playable roster.

And PENTA is unlockable in a legal way.

i see now... that is only the skin of N.OXIDE, but the speed is just like Crash.

N.OXIDE boost is located on the 6 pipes behind, not in the middle

@2auhsoj2 It's the skin of oxide, on the kart of some charachter, but the stats are the ones of oxide. If you don't know things, or aren't expert in the game, please don't comment.

Just for your info, crash or any other charachter hasn't so much turn has oxide. He has the narrowest turn rate, check the vid again.

i'm almost sure you can unlock penta withoug cheats. i just can't remember how. however, you don't need an emulator or the like for him, he's included in the game naturally.

@ShowtekGER actually you have found fake infos. I finished the game in every single of his aspetcs. I completed adventure at 101%. I have all platinum relics. I have finished the adventure several times. I have beaten all the ghost you could ever imagine in every single track in trial mode, both n tropy and oxide. I played several times all the game modalities with all the charachters. I have also some techincal infos about the fact that oxide is unlocked with cheats. Deal with it.

u can't unlock oxide without it. It's a cartridge to unlock cheats. Search for it on google. It's sold on ebay as well

Oxide is just a larger Crash. Penta has all stats maxed out. Use Penta, stop looking after Oxide.

Because it is what, 4 times larger? A trick of the eye. Comparing the characters side by side, and looking at the game files, you can see that Oxide is that. You can say that Tiny has sharper turning that Dingodile, but it is wrong, it just looks like that: Tiny is larger, but the stats for them are identical.

yep, they didn't put him because of graphical issues i think. Matter of fact, you can't use him in all the tracks of the game because in some (like Polar pass, Cortex castel and others) it causes glitches and the game graphic looks dizzy and fucked up. So u shouldn't even play with it. Therefore u need gameshark.... a pity, but after 5 years i finally got it xD

dunno bout the speed, i drive better than this, but with oxide is harder to drive if u aren't used to. for example i held the WR in crash cove some years ago (1:21), but in the years some guy has made 20,19 then the actual world record is 1:18 or 17 and i can't compete with that

I just got Oxide with a Gameshark and he's a larger Pura, Polar or Ripper Roo. He has excellent turning but terrible speed. Penta Penguin is unlike the others. Penta has better speed and the same turning as Pura etc. DIngodile/Tiny/Papu/N Tropy are actually better than Penta on some tracks.

Oxide is shit though, I thought he'd be brilliant but he was a big disappointment.
