  • May God bless you Cage. I am a white guy also reared on the music of hip hop culture (lived in Orange County for a while too) however I was always skeeved by hyper agressive white kids with edge ups and air force 1s. This is a lesson to everybody, especially the haters: BE YOU.

  • hes dusted as fuuk...look how is eyes are darting different places, its obvious

  • I fuxx witchoo cage. It's hard for someone to speak openly and be themselves. Some people don't even know themselves. They pretend so long to be their favorite people, that they never develop themselves. And the become a copy of the things and people they admire.. My favorite cage vrs was off of the "Rich bring em back" track. "Welcome to hell."!!

  • I think hes just tired

  • "being a white man and doing a black art form, that shits not cool" Cage is a fucking idiot, LOVED his music but now his music sucks dick and all you fan boys can hop off because cage is acting like a pretentious fuck in this interview so fuck him i wouldn't even download " Depart From Me" if it were free

  • i'm not here to cry or sit here and say ''i want the old Cage back,'',but saying Hip-Hop/Rap is a black art-form is ass-backwards,rapping is universal, rock is universal, nothing is ''white'' or ''black'',that's opinion. now i LOVE his old Rap music, but his new stuff is way off the radar of what he started, those drugs or state of mind have fucked you up Cage....bad. i hope you're happy with your music choice, also TO ME; if the Culture is down with you, feel free to drop the ''N'' bomb.

    -Majesty

  • the "white man doing a black art form" part, that's just the most ignorant thing I've heard come out of anyone's mouth. I lost a bit of respect for cage as a person.

  • As much as I've always admired cage's music, I just cannot get into his newer shit no matter how hard I try. I mean I respect him for getting sober and all, kudos to him for that, but I just don't understand why he'd WANT to lose all of his older fans. These so called "assholes" are the ones who've supported him from the inception of his music career. That's almost like looking up to someone your whole life, then that person turns and says "fuck you go away". That shits not cool, and as far as

  • Thia guy just gets closer and closer to death..... Eat some cereal cage

  • @Bobbythehammer

Exactly my problem; cage is not being "himself" by saying hip hop is for black people and completely changing his style; he's being a pussy

Hip hop has nothing to do with black and white and this interview just made me lose respect for him

  • this is a progression...the guy got over a drug habit and now he's detached from his old self. He's found some peace and hes matured...respect that for what it is, whether you like it or not its not like he's gone commercial. Its real.

  • emo wiggers suck

  • interviewer was a fucking idiot

  • @NARTSIPACMIT I know this is 4 years old but your responding to thelegendpwk for WHAT???? what are you saying thats in response to him??????????????

  • @treebarkeater agreed, and this guy talks about being white as if behavior is race oriented. so from what he was saying does that mean this guy was a fraud all aloing with the whole wigger shit.

  • i cant believe cage is listening to Aceyalone in the background. thats a trip!

  • that song he was performing at the beginning .. does anybody know what its called?

  • @MURDERGOBLIN74 Cage - Subtle art of the break up song.........one of my favorites =]

  • @xD3IVION1Cx thanx! :D

  • new cage is so gay lmao, i want PCP smokin Alex back

  • @BL3ST1NE listen to his old shit then.

  • @BL3ST1NE so gay? no man.. he is the same person only that now he is sober, decided, mature. but still cage

  • @92BadBird nah.. i cant rock with that emo rap

  • lol he learned to pronunciate and talk emo

  • @RoberTastic Talk Emotional? Stereotypical prick

  • @Niggyomama

    yes hw is one

  • He is one rad motherfucker, his music is not the same but he's still underground as fuck whether he has a stupid fanbase or not.

  • @WNwhitenoiseWN Well spoken.I agree 100%

  • When he speaks, his voice reminds me of Kurt Cobain

  • why are yall hatin on cage even though hes not his original self doesnt make him less of a mc he changed for his daughter and because he didnt want to da the same shyt im still down wit cage if yall hate its cause yall have nothin better to do den hate on sumone u dont know.

if yall guna hate on dis commen to so be it man

  • @WNwhitenoiseWN fuck u, and stop being so simple minded and just becausr hes changed his style u sudenly dont like him, u are a shit fan get a life

  • oh how the mighty have fallen

  • hes pretty blunt in this interview

  • crimebridge holdin it down in central ssq

  • what a fucking idiot

  • Ive been up on cage since radiohead necro days,,i gotta say he doesent now much about what hes talking about, saying what are we doing trying to act black lol people we are products of our surroundings, let me explain, take a black baby and have him raised by uncle tom white people and see how he acts,or take a white baby and have him raised by black people,so yeh cage maybe YOU who grew up in upstate ny were "trying" to act black, but other white kids like me who grew up in urban places...

  • ...surrounded by black and hispanics dont act like anything,we are who we are cuz of our surroundings growing up,how do u expect me to act like uncle tom white people if i didnt grow up around them?? he didnt think much before he made that statement did he

  • to any one sayin hip hop is for blak ppl, white man created the microphone

  • @SkrewLooseRecordz ok black man invented rock and roll guess who stole that!!

  • fuck the bullshit i love samples im a loopdigga til the death

  • cage is a homophobe!

  • @TheKoolguy34 good for him, shows hes maturing

  • He listens to old stuff but he wants rap to be more progressive? Can you say: cognitive dissonance

  • It's interesting when people bitch and moan when an artist like Cage turns introspective and instantly call him emo. Seems like these dudes just want music to make their balls feel bigger when they're 'bussin caps' or 'fuckin bitches', so when a rapper takes a more introspective turn, those types of fans turn their backs on him because they can't to comprehend the idea of looking within themselves.

  • One thing though, "hip hops for black people"? ok so your saying then rock is for white? that's bullshit to the highest degree, i got a shit load of black friends into metal music and a load of white people into hip hop, and alot who like both like myself, music is music, fuck the stereotype's.

  • @Bobbythehammer im not defending the whole hip hop is for black people thing but ur rock is for white people arguement doesnt make any sense at all...rock was invented by black people also...

  • To be honest this dude isnt no sell out at all, hes just proving that you dont have to limit yourself to a certain genre. Music is music and if it makes you happy why not?

  • I like the ... differentness

  • @SuperIkoHam lol.

  • Damn. Total fag now.

  • @steadilyshine09 says the dude who favorites "How to lockpick a door".. GET THE FUCK OUT.

  • The interview was going well until he spoke about being a white man making black music. WTF new drug is he on?????? Doesnt Cage know that there is no COLOR in hip hop?? ANYONE of any color can make hip hop. And some of us who love hip hop LOVE the sampling and loops of beats. Id rather listen to alchemist or DJ Premier all day and they make beats that are TIMELESS not stuck in the 90's like Cage claims.

  • @DonLeoMarin Rap originated from blacks, but became universal through the low class of races.

  • why does everyone have a problem with rappers 'changing'? i just dont understand how people can say that these emcees are sell outs for changing and making music that they want to make. if you look at this whole generation of hip hop, cage's generation that is, they have all matured and changed their music up whether its a few minor changes or its something drastic. and i mean everyone in that generation thats 30+ years old. i listen to a lot of LA and i see it in everyone

  • ok so i just heard about this band and i listened to some of his old music and i listened to some new and its completely different. seems like he sold out but i guess you sort of half to in order to get your name out there. i like it though and i hope he'll eventually be on the radio.

  • haha he got beat the fuck up by celph titled

  • @MrMister296 haha he got hit not beat the fuck up,big difference sunshine

  • hes def high on coke..i know the signs..he looks nervous, jaws moving...eyes blank....monotoned and keeping explanations at a minimum..for SURE

  • @daniebella dude i can see what ur saying but think about the amount of shit hes put into his body , hes gunna be tweeked looking even if he is clean.

  • @daniebella Dude, I don't know anyone on coke who is monotoned and keeps explanations at a minimum. They blab on and on and on. I mean, chatty kathy's applies to coke heads. His jaw is moving because he's talking. He looks tired, not nervous. His eyes are dark naturally. They're not blank. It's the lighting.

  • i don't know what the fuck you are talking about, he still looks like a junkie : D

  • he looks like he was up the whole day boofing it

  • i hate that cage is called underground

    call him superground

  • so he KNOWS kid cudi??????????????????

  • @420HighRyder 1;48

  • Depart from Me sucks, movies for the blind one of the greatest rap albums of all time. Hells Winter amazing too. "I stopped getting hip-hop producers to produce my records" dumb ass cage your a rapper. I cant believe one of the greatest rappers of all time turns to this. hes just so wrong

  • I dont see why you guys dont understand how hes grown and how hes changing. Even if you prefer his old persona, you can still appreciate that he's doing his own thing now for him, not for anyone else. Hes really matured in his own way is how i see it and i hope everyone else will see that too

  • @BabyStarFuXXer yea but he is still the same person like he could still beat ur head in hes still hardcore just cuz he dont show it

  • Cage sounded like a fucking illogical idiot when he said "Being a white man doing a black art form, that's not cool", he wouldn't even be saying that if it wasn't for the media and other people glorifying Hip Hop as a black art form, but if you're gonna start saying that sort of shit then you've also got to say things like "Being a black man playing golf, that's not cool" just because golf was started by a white person, but no one would say that, and saying that would be just as stupid.

  • @AntiEminemChannel Exactly, it's bullshit! I may be jumping the gun a little but it's almost as if he's calling for segregation.

I cringe when I see white rappers making what they consider to be "white hiphop". It's disrespectful to the roots of the music, and they're obviously spending too much time acknowledging the fact that THEY ARE WHITE, instead of just absorbing influence and emmulating their favourite black artists. Just make music, don't make a big deal out of insignificant shit!

  • @83BarFly Race isn't insignificant in any way. Read W.E.B Du Bois and tell me race isn't an important part of hip-hop.

  • @Casperthedopestghost I'm sure you could give me a quick summary.

My point is, if you're brought up in the hustel & bustle of a multi-cultural hiphop dominated environment, you're going to reflect that. You are a product of your environment, & Cage was a product of his. But all of a sudden he's aware that he's white (must not have a lot of mirrors where he's from!) & now he feels he has to "act" white... that's the bullshit part, "ACTING" white!!!

Be yourself no matter what it reflects.

  • @83BarFly Maybe he is just starting to. It's hard to be a white guy in a mostly black profession. You have to try to fit in.

  • @Casperthedopestghost Starting to what? Be himself? Meaning the character he was before this change was just an act as he was trying to fit in with black artists? That's not how I see it. The man is in his late 30's, you can't hold an act for that long, especially if you're as intelligent as he is . Besides, he gives his reason for his change, he wants to stop "prepetuating black stereotypes as a white man". However, he wasn't, and never has been prepetuating a black stereotype. (next message)

  • @Casperthedopestghost (2nd part)... He may have odd tracks that reflect bullshit HIPHOP stereotypes (cash, hoes etc), but the majority of his content is very specific to him. He talks about sick dark twisted stuff that is all him. If he wants to change the content then fine, if he wants to explore other styles of music then fine, but the race element and excuses are bullshit. As I said before, he reflects the hiphop environment of New York City that he was raised in, not a black stereotype.

  • @Casperthedopestghost I understand that he's outgrown his former self, but he's doing more than that. It's like he's gone from being an artist to being a white artist, as if being white means that he has to act and dress a certain way. The whole idea of fitting into a social trend - a man made trend - is bullshit. There's no genetics involved, so his skin colour means sweet fuck-all, he was a product of his environment, and now he's just a contrived prick (IMO)

  • @AntiEminemChannel He said as a white man doing black music perpetuating black stereotypes isnt cool

  • this guy smokes crack for sure :\ look at him

  • @MikeyDunkno pcp actually

  • in my opinion, depart from me is his best work, and no im not emo,my wrists are scar free!im a pure underground hip hop junkie,i love his old work, but dfm is awesome,in my opinion of course

  • Cage made no sense at the end. How is not doing hip hop as a white person because it is a "black art form" not perpetuating black stereotypes.

  • Real talk. I didn't know anything about underground until I heard a Cage track. It's good that he's staying true to himself.

  • he got pissed when dude was talkin about el-p changing appearance and referring to a "maturity statement" then he kinda get heated a bit but it was cut-off...

    WHERE IS THE FULL INTERVIEW?

i respect cage. he's humble and tells it like it is.. mainstream sucks, and the whole hip hop scene is becoming mundane so hes doin his own thing its fun for him and different.. fuck the HATERAMA around here...

  • If anyone is interested I started a facebook page called, The Pulse of Hip Hop. It's fairly new but if your a fan of hip hop please check it out.

  • He's Full Of Shit, This Whole Thing Is About Him SELLING OUT!!!!!!!!

He's Switching To That Emo Rock Shit, Those "Hardcore Kids Who Know Nothing About Underground Rap" Buy His Records More Than The Underground Hip Hop Scene That Helped Make Him Who He Was And He's Gonna Start Entertaining And Appealing To Them And Don't Forget He's Become "Best Buddies" With Shia Lebouf I Love Hell's Winter And I'm A Fan Of The Old Stuff Too But Now I Don't Fuck With Homie

  • @MrDwalk85 word... thats exactly what i was thinking. i liked him better when he was a fat fuck and was somewhat unknown and into that brutal sadistic shit. now they're talking about making a movie about him with that dirtbag Lebouf all of a sudden trying to bring him up and claim glory. its shocking to see how his whole persona suddenly changed. pretty degrading actually

  • is this cage the one eminem had beef wid?

  • @mokakashi yeah, em copied his style

  • @LiLo22021 No He Didn't, Em Copied Esham

  • @MrDwalk85 em copied cage go do your reseach.

  • @LiLo22021 I Suggest You Do Yours

    1. Esham's From Detroit, Been Making Music Since The Late 80's/Early 90's Doing The Same Fucked Up Raps That Inspired Em While Cage Was In A Mental Institution

    2. Em Never Heard Of Cage Until He Dissed Him

    3. If Em "Copied" Cage's Style, Why Hasn't He Dissed Him After The Slim Shady LP? He's Dissed ICP And Canibus (Two Other Hip Hop Acts Who He Has Taken "Some" Of His Technique From) When He Got On Top

  • @MrDwalk85 pretty sure em was signed to the same record label as cage before his debut album where he took cages style and cage did diss him in "illest four letter word"

  • @LiLo22021 Cage Was Signed To Fondle Em Records

Em Released His First Two Albums Under WEB Entertainment

And If You Mean Eastern Conference Or Rawkus, Em Was Never Signed To Either, He Just Collabed With Artist On Those Labels

  • Comment removed

  • lol this is why I like cage, dude keeps it real..not looking out to please every fucking body like a lot of sell out artists today..

  • that performance looks like it was god awful, if thats him sober he better hit a dipper stat.. that black stereotype whateva he was talking.. haha wow.. way confused and pussified

  • And I don't think he meant one single word of the bullshit about black stereotypes. He wasn't himself here. He probably hasn't been since 2006 or so....

  • Anyone noticed how Cage started acting like El-P around the time he swithced up his music style? If you watch The Home Movies or the Def Jux Tour DVD you can see how El-P talks the same way in interviews and even does the same facial expressions. Back then Cage had his own personality and way of talking.

I think El-P had a big influence on him.

And he seems more insecure in this interview than he ever did back in the day. I think he was depressed, drugged up and tired here.

  • @ScruffyMoltisanti Depressed yes, drugged up no. Loss of confidence and depression are by-products of sobriety

  • @ScruffyMoltisanti Dude, i think cage just changed cause of stuff going on in his life, i mean his best friend or one of his really good friends camu tao died, he became a father, so maybe he just matured, i mean he rapped about psycho shit since the early 90`s, wouldn't u get a bit bored with the same stuff, i actually like depart from me, anybody can relate to it, but still movies for the blind is good, though i do keep hearing rumors about an album thats like MFTB in the making.

  • @DEATHBYSOCIALIST Became a father? He had his daughter back in the smut peddlers days too.

  • Wut song is dat?

  • @renegade247 Subtle Art of the Break Up

  • ... hahahaha ... I got thrown outta this show for fightin' some punk-ass wannabe thug ... hahahha ... memories ...

  • I don't like Cage's new shit, but that's just my opinion. I still got mad respect for the guy. He's easily one of the illest rappers I've ever heard!

  • I. Love. Cage. Fuck modern rap. You can take one look at Cage and know how fucked up he's been, look into his eyes and you'll see his life story. This video says so much, i appreciate him more and more everytime i watch it, if I could choose one guy to speak my mind, I'm sure Cage wouldn't leave anything left out on this subject.

  • cage do cage

  • guys, he grew up. his tastes grew up. deal with it. the guy is real as it comes.

  • Oh snap it's the kid that played John Connor in Terminator 2

  • u should of stayed the way you were

  • this is why i lke his music

  • he turned into a weirdo

  • lol he looks like a crackhead. poor guy. i departed from listening to cage after depart from me

  • Comment removed

  • he thinks that its wrong to act as a black stereotype, when he portrays a white trendy stereotype now. i lost respect for him.

  • yeah, how come that happened anyways? he used to sound real, like he grew up in the deepest projects of brooklyn.

  • cage is a great artist .. he got talent.. i wish him the best as a person

  • CAGE AND ATMOSPHERE!!!!! AT LEAST ONCE? AND WOULD ALL U FAG'Z SHUT UP ABOUT HELL'S WINTER AND MOVIES FOR THE BLIND...JESUS...LEAVE IT ALONE ALREADY.

  • wow shit @Beta2G. see any similarities in names?:p btw, i agree with your point. hes still angry but he's not coping with his problems with drugs and and mouthing about his sex exploits. like you said, its Always a step up when someone kicks the drug habits. and either way, Cage just continues to put out dope tracks. mad respect

  • Cage is emo now

  • this dude is a travesty to hip hop. and as a white dude, i don't think that emo white dudes should be allowed in hiphop anymore. yeeeeeah. let's put up a color line. i agree with the "dated" thing but this dude is gonna be another Kirk Cobain or Michael Hutchence story in 6 years, at LEAST! BS to the Def Jux movement! hip hop is beauty.

  • hes on drugs look at him....

  • @gunkymunk man shut the fuck up you don't know shit

  • @aalkaline have ever scene someone on drugs? he looks fucked up

  • @gunkymunk That's also what it looks like when you're truly exhausted. I've been both. If he was still getting trashed he'd say it. He was never one to deny his use...

  • FKN CRACKHEAD

  • dude thinks he's beyond sampling. Yay. "Rap is an art,you can't own no loop,it's how you hook it up and the rhyme style troop."- Guru

  • he looks like shit

  • Cage is a good influence on society! him and Eminem need to make up and make a few songs together it'd be sick!

  • I wish he was still drug fucked, fucking me and semi-chubby. I am the epitome of fan girl. Bleh.

  • very intellectual.

    true poet

  • man.... wtf. :( iam so sorry for me to see him like that. it just hurts. i love the old cage.

  • I wanna see the raw tape on this.

  • For real... Cage is my hero.

  • so is he saying he doesn't want 'hardcore' kids at his shows? :s Because I go to metal shows, but I also listin to rap, I honestly respect all genres and listin to what/how I'm feeling at that moment. Anyways, I love Cage and his lyrics blow me away. Maybe I'll show up at one of his shows in a Glassjaw sweater ;) hahaha. But honestly, I love it.

  • he justified the lifestyle of so many white kids on the street for years.. you cant turn your back on that.. still got mad love for the dude and understand fully his trip about being yourself but he sold it..

  • @bgood001 being urself is not selling out im pretty sure its the opposite

  • @MPgallegos can never knock "being yourself", hip-hop is hollow if it doesn't reflect what you believe..

you can see this guy hates who he used to be and what he represented (perpetuating black stereotypes), its just sad for the fans man.. the kids who related to him back then. its almost like hes now telling them "stop trying to be black".. love cage new or old btw!

  • @bgood001 Maybe people just bought him up cause he was the first to do it and because he was the first he got most recog for it.

  • cage: a rapper with a mind of his own. imagine that

  • he is more like a emo rocker nowadays but i still have mad respect for him because of his older work, i don´t listen to him no more though

  • hes keepin it more real than most by dressing the way he does n shit

  • @MPgallegos Who gives a fuck what he's wearin.

  • @SmilingBread not me but alot of other ppl apparantly

  • gaaah! sucha bad ass.

  • CAge is the shit...

  • this interview is classic.....if you "liked" cage and now u dont...you are the sell out! if u never liked him and still dont...i think he would still tell u to fuck off. he is an artist....and like he said if we are not doin this to progress then what the fuck are we doin?!

  • Which makes sense because what girl would want to listen to a misogynistic freak who talks about grabbing their tits and slicing their throat.

    And on the flipside

What guy wants to listen to a whiney emo bitch SING about his problems of self-loathing while being a passive pussy - and not do anything about it. It's just one huge melo-dramtatic pity party, which females eat up.

He's playing the hip-hop heads for fools and thinks his new fans won't catch on to his gimmick, either.

  • 'what girl would want to listen to a misogynistic freak who talks about grabbing their tits and slicing their throat.'

I know loads. lol. Wanna know why? Coz it's music bro. You can listen to it without taking every damn syllable literally...ffs! I love Black Metal...but I ain't about to go burn down some church now.....nor are my female black-metallers.

When I read you're 'essay' I think of 2 words:

    Chip & Shoulder.

  • That's bullshit. Cage himself admits that girls hated him and his music, also Black Metal (when you can understand it) doesn't have or deal with blatant misogyny. By your logic I guess there must be blacks that love Norwegian Nazi Metal, just music after all.

When I read your reply I think of two words too:

    Reading Comprehension.

  • Cage was all about shock value. If he or many other rappers stood on a pedestal seriously promoting what they rapped about - guns, killing, rape etc etc then of course you'd view it in a different light.

Any real band which considers itself part of the NSBM promotes Nazi beliefs and want their listeners to also.

  • so what youre saying is, you want everything to stay the same?

move on with your life, troll

Its his music, he can do whatever the fuck he wants with it.

  • My point being his whole excuse for 'selling out' is total bullshit filled with lies, hypocrisy, and logical fallicies.

What he really sold out for is more money(admitted) and pussy. That's right, pussy.. "girls don't have a problem with my hair". "when I was into hip-hop guys came up to me with dust to smoke, now girls come up to me with hugs and kisses"

His old genre was like 99% male, his new genre is probably 70% female 30% male, and most males are the ones that stick by him.

  • Thirdly, He admitted in an interview pretty recently that he hated depart from me. On his twitter he said he isn't making another album because "kids don't buy my music so why bother" not knowing that the 15 year old hot-topic fanbase hes catering too now DOESN'T BUY MUSIC.

There is also video of a concert he did where he requested a moment of peace for the passing of Camu-Tao but all the fucking idiots didn't care/didn't know him so they kept on yelling and he had to call them out. - sad.

  • Second off

he'd only be perpetrating black stereotypes of rap these days by being a gangster or rapping about his bling, cars, and hos which he didn't do, he has that NY accent too so its not like hes trying to sound black.

And if he was 'acting' that whole time? then he was a much better actor before because he looks goofy and awkward as fuck right now, he can't even do indie-rock or emo right, it's embarrassing since I happen to be a fan of both genres. It's all a gimmick and he knows it.

  • @Telgar001 Yeah he definitley doesn't look the same as he did about 8 years ago or so. I think he's totally sold out, Reason being I can't stand any of his new shit, when hell's winter was coming out a few years ago, I was like yeah, another cage album, but I bought and trashed it, literally, fucking threw it out. I listened to the whole thing and it just pissed me off. He talks about stereotypes, and the dude dresses like a douschebag.

  • You're a fucking idiot.

First of all - Cage started out in a sub-genre of rap called Acid Rap/Horrorcore, which is filled with white rappers, why is it filled with white rappers? because they rap about 'white issues''

I.E: Mental Problems, Suicide, Heavy drug use, Macabre violence. If you look at the statistics on these issues its significantly higher for whites then blacks. Just like drive bys, gangs, drug selling and trafficking are black issues. WHICH IS WHY THEY RAP ABOUT IT DURRRRR.

  • "It's really neat"

    WTF? Gay ass emo fag.

  • wow im sure hes not saying hip hop is BLACK culture but saying what does the media see, black rappers and wanna be blacks like em, again no disrespect to em. but shit dude if we arnt questioning progression then we are stuck in the same old hip hop scene that you hear everday which i love no doubt but its all about drug slangin, thugs clamin gangs, and fuckin bitches at the club it all sounds the same sure people switch up the ways to say it but how long till we said everything?

  • I want to respect Cage, but this interview pisses me off. First of all, Of course he has the right to look however he wants, but the fact that he was ever "putting on an act," in the first place is ridiculous. There are plenty of kids everywhere, of all races, getting edge ups, and they aren't doing it to be something they're not. They're doing it because they don't wanna look like greasy dope heads. It's not black culture. It's hip hop culture, you fuck.

  • Get a fucking life. Cage can say anything he wants about fucking whatever he wants. If he thinks its a black artform it is for him. He's talking he dont want to talk like a nigger! fucking rapping about being on drugs and wooping ass. He's saying he doesn't want to be put in the same category as Eminem, when they were. (No disrespect to eminem) Fuck everyone I hate my life, Imma put on a cage song, take some mescaline, and slit my wrists

  • what the fuck... this guys music is horrible and he looks like he begging to get as many cocks in his ass that will fit!! what a fag

  • even though he said some moderatley racist shit in that interview i can understand cage wanting to do music more about himself seeing as almost everything he talked about other than drugs and programs was an act back in the day. He admits he was faking which is pretty fucken whack. However what people miss out on is that most underground rap isnt about whats actually real, its about whats in your mind. . . And cage talking about rap being a black artform, thats pretty fuked up bro. He WAS dank.

  • Cage should know better, he came up into the game because of Bobbito and was featured on the Cenobites back in '93, etc. he should know hip hop isn't "black" music. i'm hispanic and we were there from the beginning. my uncle was a DJ in the Bronx, I remember those parties from when I was young as hell. And there was whites, blacks, hispanics and everything.

hip hop is universal. it's mecca is NYC but it belongs to everyone

but otherwise i respect Cage, do your thing.

  • emo fuck

  • Whos alive, him or Tupac?

  • He is...whats your point? Pacs still a better rapper even tho hes dead
