@Garud100 it is a patented system of suspension, which is made of a central spine tube and wheels with traction are connected to it. Google for images "tatra podvozek", my english is not good enaugh to describe it sufficiently.

The tube contains gears, shaft etc. Half-axles run from the tube to each wheel. Essentially it is a special kind of independent suspension that gives Tatra the high off-road speed and durability. This design dates back to early 1900 century (Tatra is the third oldest car manufacturer, but now they make only trucks).
