  • Whoa! Hot right away!

    This is an amazing group!

As usual it sounds perfect on your machine!

And what a STUNNING collection of machines!!!!

  • You have quite a gorgeous phonograph collection of my favorite Edisons as do I. But yours beats mine! Marc.

  • Great song and wonderful sond! What an amazing collection! Did I really see two amberola 1a?

    Thanks

  • Hi, Actually no, you saw a 1A and a 1B. I'm going to post some videos of those playing too in the next few months but I don't have access to them right now. They are in the USA and I live in Czech

  • Sounds great, thank you !!

  • Thanks Rocky, Check back soon. I'm in the process of uploading "Red Hot Mamma" as we speak. It's the Blue Amberol version, which does not sound quite as good. The Chippendale is on it's way to Europe now so within a couple months I'll be able to post the diamond disc. That one is fantastic!

  • The 1924 Georgia Melodians' recordings are unquestionably the hottest acoustically recorded dance band material on Edison diamond disc.

  • Thanks Paal,

Now that I've figured out how to do this you can expect a few more from time to time.

Check out a couple of marches on the Edison Triumph which I also posted today.

    Cheers, Valecnik

  • The Georgia Melodians are among the best dance bands to record for Edison. Thank for posting this great record.

    Beautiful C-19!
