As someone said this is jazz more than anything - classic track - didn't think much of it the first couple of plays but a real grower and like many tunes like that that take a bit of time once it's in there you'll never get bored of it
Love this song makes me think back to when I needed to break up with the bicth I was with a couple years ago. This song is uplifting and reminds me of good times when I wasnt around that bicth.
Such a beautiful song. This is what great dance music should sound and feel like. I remember buying this and playing both sides over and over. I was playing clubs in NYC that wouldn't allow for it to be played prime time but still made a lot of headway in the underground.
@wezilla21 I love House, but in my opinion this is jazz dance music. Mr. Fingers can not be reduced to just one genre of music, he is a combo of Jazz Funk/Acid Jazz, Uptempo R&B, and House. This cat is timeless. Better put, when music was music.

I'm back to comment again, this is the sweetest tune Larry has ever done, it reminds me of clear crystal waters on a warm evening, drinking good wine and making love by a fire :) Long live the house master....Larry heard!
Took me ages to find this song! Remember hearing it when I was about 5 and fell in love it. Had no idea who it was by until now. Larry Heard - God bless that man.
@LlLJAMIE Not a problem. I'd be much obliged if you are able to upload "Survivor". I love that song. Mr. Fingers was truly underrated. "Introduction" is a great album. You'll love it.
After all these years, this song STILL has so much meaning for me. Classic, timeless. I agree with reory..........................long live mr. fingers
During the incepetion years of House music.

I played this to someone once and they said it sounded like elevator music.
That response was more amazing to me than the track.
Beautiful beautiful song.

This came out in 1989, not 1987. It was, also, on the album "Introduction" that came out in 1992.
I'm looking for "Survivor" by Mr. Fingers--which is off the Introduction album.

@Dynamo001 Thanks for the info. If you're still looking for "Survivor", I'll order the Introduction album on vinyl and see if I can get it uploaded.
