  • war schon 2 mal da, könnte dort leben

  • Sean Nós is prounced Shan Nos (you pronounce the O like you would if you were just saying the letter O). And it's not Gaelic it's either Irish or Gaeilge. Gaelic means celtic we don't speak celtic here, so please if you're going to put up a video about Ireland please make sure the things you're going to say are right first!

  • @GrahamPhelan thanks for the info Graham. My pronunciations of words are not the best. Thanks for your help, can make changes to the dvd ;)

  • @overlander Thats grand good video btw!

  • @GrahamPhelan Good call on the pronunciation of Sean Nos. (Sorry can't do fadas on my laptop)

Here in France the frogs only understand the term "gaelique". When I tell them I speak Irish (irlandais) they get confused and think it's a patois and not a real, distinct and beautiful language ://///

  • @oisinparis Ye I do French in school & our teacher told us that not everyone in France would understand the term irlandais so we have to use gaelique, even though there is no such language.

  • @GrahamPhelan

    ... he's an aussie, it's not his fault ;)

    :P

  • fear maith

  • he,he... Treasa taught me a few tunes a few years ago... agus 'An Spailpin Aerach' or 'fanach' was one of them... Good to see Stevie again behind the bar... Gotta get back for a few days...sigh

  • Beautiful. I wish I knew Irish language.

  • Yeah i know it! It's a beautiful language indeed. Oh I'm subscribed to you actually, you did that great video on red hair! :D

  • I am so glad you liked that video. I didn't know if it was okay. But, it looks to me like people with red hair are very nice and appreciative of any gesture of appreciation. How nice that is.

  • I don't know really myself. I think redheads are all different and are actually a very diverse bunch of people which means you don't know what to expect if you base somebody on clichés, e.g. redheads are fiery. What I liked about your video was how you got ordinary people who all shared the trait but you captured different views and opinions and experiences. :) I'm redhaired myself by the way and I'm Irish.

  • It definitely makes sense that everyone is an individual. I don't mean to be biased. I sometimes sound like I am because of limited social skills and an appreciation for cultures where people share common views, etc. And, the red haired people whom I have met (many where I live) have always been very nice to me. They look like magic, in my opinion. :) Best Wishes, Irish person.

  • im from the east coast of ireland and have been to aran twice the past two summers. i love galway so much im currently looking for a house over there :-) want to become fluent in Gaeilge aswel x

  • i went to ireland two time. i love it.

i wood love to go back.

  • there is a little midget that goes to the bar slightly above the bar close to the seaport. He is the most aggressive midget on planet earth and was looking for a fight with everyone in the bar, no matter how many or how big. Respect for the midget!

  • would have been an interesting guy to interview ;)

  • The singer is Treasa Ní Mhiolláin and the bus driver is Máirtín Chóilín Tom Ó Maoláin.

  • Great video but it annoys me when the singing is interrupted.

  • I was there. Fantastic place and people.

  • thanks guys, congrats on the travel channel feature

  • More magic from Magical Overlander!
