because of David...i uploaded a video...i lost my uncle and great uncle...thank you David...for...for being you and doing that video....so thankyou...:)
Beautifully put David... I lost my aunty to lung cancer when I was very young. I barely knew her, and I can't say I have clear memories about her. I'll never forget her though, even if it has already been over five years. I miss you Aunty Wendy xx
Inspiring! Which is why we chose Cancer Research UK as one of our 10 most deserving Charities. Thank you, I hope we can make a significant contribution to their cause as our supporters grow in number.
lost my grandpa to cancer :( he was smiling to the very last day. i was eight, i wish i'd had more time to get to know him better. i loved him and i'll miss him. it was really hard on my mom.
lost my grandad and a cousin in law to bone marrow cancer. Both fought to the end and never gave up or had a "woe is me" attitude. Great examples of living life to the fullest. May the both rest in peace. Thank you David. And all the best to you and yours. May your mum rest in peace also.
Thank you David, for what you're doing. I really don't care if any of what you just said meant anything to you, just the fact that you said it made my day :)
I've lost relatives to cancer, they will always be remembered.
I am so sad/happy to see David doing this... but I have to say, I wish we'd heard his memory of his Mum to start us off, along with his wonderful promo. I've lost my Daddy and will be adding a video soon... blessings to all whom this affects and who are helped by this effort! Bravo, David and AICR!
I thought the same thing, or maybe that's another video? It might also be that he's not ready to go there yet? Cancer very nearly took my brother's life - he forever has a hole in his neck as a reminder. It's his second cancer too. We are so lucky to still have him, he recovered in my home with us and we did a LOT of laughing then and thankfully still can.
RIP Helen MacDonald, and to all the people who have died snd suffered because of cancer.i lost my grandfather to cancer.i was only 3, and i miss having him in my life.i was very young, but i still remember going to see him at home, he was hardly able to move, but he fought it till the end. a friend has leukemia as well.treatment is going well, ad expecting full recovery soon.Never give up and please, never let cancer have the last word.
thanks for getting david to do this. it's really getting it out there. best wishes on the campaign and a big thank you to David for taking the time to do something so near to his heart =(
It's a good thing if it helps the relatives of the deceased to cope, gains attention for AICR.
I've been told my mom might have it, still hoping she doesn't. Bad blood results, but they don't know where, if there's something. They're searching now. So it's actually scary for me to see this. Nothing bad's really been found, but it just keeps looming. And I'm seeing what could be. Though that's probably a selfish thing to say.
I'm putting this on fav. It deserves all the attention it can get.
Dont let cancer have the last word. I lost my gran to lung cancer at the age of 54, sure we have still got great memories but this video has made me realise that the memories are what really matter!
Please dont let cancer have the last word. RIP Helen McDonald. :(
This is so lovely!! :') Wonderful idea!! I remember that day i found out it happened to David on the day that it did happen and i felt so sad and feeling for him and couldn't believe it :( My thoughts are with everyone who has lost someone to cancer. thankfully i haven't lost anyone to cancer, but i give £ 2.00 every month to AICR and i support them completely because you never know who could be affected by this horrible disease. This seems like a brilliant idea.
and now on a fangirl note: looking gorgeous Mr. DT ;)
@David Tennant: Ty (Thank you) for all that you've done against cancer. You are an inspiration for all (I sincerely mean that).

Lost my grandfather to cancer, and a good friend of mine lost her mother to cancer just about 2 years ago.
I adore David for doing this, he's such a sweet and caring man. So tragic about his mum. :(
