After spending loads of time trying to remember the meanings of all the major arcana and not getting on very well, I stumbled across this video which made it much easier. I literally learned them all after 3 watches of the video. Thanks for the refreshing and helpful approach, I am using a similar method to try and memorize the minor arcana now, although it is quite daunting, I will get there in the end !

I'm actually using the Major arcana to write a story, translating the fool's journey into an actual story. I found that it gives another dimension to the cards if you look to them for producing stories, they tell stories about yourself.

I have read tarot for most of my life...I have heard the fool's journey explained and told many, many times...but never in such an enlightened way...it is clear to see you truly understand the fool's journey and I commend you on such a wonderful video...also spyro rocks!

I'm a Christian, too, and I also stumbled across this because of the new SP album (can't freaking wait), but this story is certainly not a load of bull. I don't know anything about Tarot cards, they very well may be, but I think this particular story is very beautiful and describes anyone who has found enlightenment's story wonderfully. Learning so much about balance and finding happiness by giving happiness and love to others. So, I'm only defending the story, not the card system.

i found this by doing some research on the new free smashing pumpkins album coming out this Halloween. personally i think this is a load of bull, but im christian, so everyone throw up your middle fingers to me . i like the story about the fools journey, but all in all its just a story. i just think tarot cards are a game of guessing and chance.

Great vid, I really enjoyed watching. Symbolism is an easy thing to underestimate, and to those who learn the true nature of symbols and start knowing at least some of the interpretations, can easily see the relevance of thing so simple and misunderstood as the Tarot deck. This is an ancient thing with very few living who understand the signifigance of the information coded into it, and once understood, the nature of the universe unfolds and enlighenment is acheived. @yawehking very little, its all scattered and thats why i was gonna ask you about a solid place to start, i very much want to learn this language. Many esoteric writings speak in this language and if you dont understand it they can lead you by your nose.

@yawehking yes, that does help but to be frank, i might have exaggerated the "very litte." i want to know all that you know, i can actually understand movies and videos that are referencing the sun deities and such. Like Underworld: Rise of the Lycans is the story of "The War of the Heavens."  You might have heard of this story as the war between the God's Angels and Lucifer and his but thats not the first recorded account. See, like you said, though i do know much i know theres alot more.

If I could take my brain and put it on a DVD I would totally mail it to you, but I can't (at least, not that I know of), so in liue of a brain/DVD i can only suggest diligent exercise of the mind/body/spirit in all areas, be it from a book, a conversation, or anything that you ingest in your day to day experience know that it is a symbol that is expressing your next chapter of progression if you can see it. Start looking. :)

could not disagree more with the interpretation of the fool. The fool is the one who holds a rose in his mouth. He is the one who looks back while walking forward towards the abyss. He follows the scent of the rose, he follows his heart. He is the one who does not care that dogs tear down the bumb cloths from his body. The new aeon will stand in the aspect of the fool. Still hard to understand. When the new avatar arrives he will be so close to us that we will walk with him hand in hand.
