Hey Lisa, I have just started using oio publisher and haven't found many tutorials that discuss what one needs to do when starting up. I considered myself to be very internet savoy but this one threw me for a loop when I set it up now I'm trying to figure out how to make it work for me. Any expert advice would help thanks

Lisa, I watch your videos and have learned so many things from you.

But i have a question. I'm in the process of getting my content in order and i want to make videos so i can have a personality behind what i'm doing. I noticed when you make videos , its almost like your having a conversation with someone. Do you write out what you want to say, or do you just make notes and cover the points? some people just like talking . but you make it look so easy.

They don't take taxes out but you are responsible for reporting your income and paying your own taxes to the IRS or you could get in trouble.

@lisa3876 Is there a threshold in order to report your earnings? For example, I'm new to online cash pocketing. I earned like 70 bucks in 09. Is that enough to report to the IRS? Seems kind of silly to report something like that and fill out more forms.

If I were going to build a store, I wouldn't use a blog format. I think most stores work best on static websites and you add a shopping cart to the site.

You mention SBI a lot in your videos, do you think it would be a good program to get into if i want to start a store (i know you don't encourage) first time web builders to start a of with a store, but i think i found a good niche for a great product. would it help me drive traffic to my store? that's one thing im worried about, if i open a store, and have no hits on my site. thanks

I'm OK with a store if you understand that it is important to build a niche around it and not just create a standalone store. SBI! is a program that will help you with the strategy for that.

Yeah e-books are great and when I get the time I'll do it. Growth is important I'm always studying you can learn CSS easily by just getting a book, there are hundreds of books about web design.

Whats the advantage of learning css over html, or is it best to know both. How do the two correlate. I'm taking a basic html class in school right now and it's hard enough learning html, do I have learn css also. I'm trying to have a full blown website up by March 2010 so times not realy on my side, is it difficult to learn css.

Definitely when you give something away for free, you increase your credibility and brand. If something is free, then there's no risk in getting it, so people will. This opens up opportunities for other sales, which will make you for more money than if you charge for the product.

I have a dreaweaver problem. I have created my website with CS4 and saved my CSS rules under "this document only" opposed to "new style sheet". So basically all the CSS rules are in page properties and not in my Local files. This is my first website and I understand that when you upload your website to the web you need to upload the html folders, images folders and CSS folders. But I don't have a CSS folder, i didn't save it correctly. So what should I do???

make a css file on the side and then link it to all your web pages then add it to your ftp
