  • Finally getting the bugs (mostly) out was nice. I have one of those Belsaw mills. I ran ropes over the saw to the pto control (luckily on the steering console of JD4030) so I could start and stop without running around or over the mill. Thanks for putting up the video :)

  • Today I rigged an overhead throttle linkage that allows me to control the engine speed from the carriage lever. I also put on a return spring on the governor linkage that tightens up the linkage and keeps the RPM from wandering. The oil pressure issue...I punted, and routed the oil pressure guage feed line into the oil fill cap. So the oil just runs into the fill hole. So far its working great and tomorrow we are planning on working it all day.

  • NICE !! the plunger on you pressure relief is stuck in.

That mill will 1/4 saw a MONSTER log with very little waste.

Nice rig Bruce. WAY faster than a Bandmill

  • nice headsaw . lol dont forget those dogs man. ive seen logs go airborne before. be safe and have fun!
