I'm from Colorado and I go to that airport a lot. The statues and murals are the artistic form of Denver emerging throughout, welcoming, and bidding farewell, to passengers. So no, DIA is not filled with pictures of the mountains and pretty little animals, it's filled with intense pieces of artwork. I actually love them, but this sculpture scares the crap out of me. Especially on a stormy day.

This could be the Horse that Al Bielek saw when he time travelled to the year 6037 AD as part of The Montauk Project. I live in Denver and I can't begin to tell you how much I dislike this airport. The old Stapleton Airport was perfectly fine. No one understood why it had to be scratched and this one went up in its place. It is ugly. That blue monstrosity that is supposed to be some kind of a horse is the most demonic looking useless waste of money I ever saw. The service at this airport is horrible....give me O'Hara any day!!!
