@zschnarr Let me correct you. All these tips come from MIke Bennet and Andy Plummber the two guys I workwith on my golf swing. I teach SnT. I also learned some very interesting stuff from Mac O'Grady who also taught Mike and Andy. But Golf Digest has absolutly nothing to do with this. They simply write about teacher that come up with stuff.
Thanks, I like your drills and have been working on them for several days. Believe it or not I've had lessons with Gary Edwin, Hardy and VJ Trolio, all of whom like the idea of weight staying left and going left. My problem is I tend to overswing and cross the line at the top if I don't use the tee drills. I'd like to get you to take a look at some video of my swing if we can arrange it. Unfortunately I'm not anywhere close to you. Thanks
The tee drill is only good when you want to focus on what your body is doing. I personally like the arms to feel free. If you do a little combo of S'nT and Edwins Rt Side swing. You start to realize that the arms have to move fast for distance. Tees stuck under the arms won't give you speed.
That was the one I was refering to. I think it's ok to hit soft shots and practice swing with to feel the body spring and turn and tuck. It's bad for making whip with your arms and if your not an accomplished player you can get too bound to the one motion of the body. Lets face it you have to use arms too. It's a tight swing but there is a whipping arm motion. That whip comes from the right arm for rt handed players. You can't throw a ball very far if the arm is stuck to your side.
Great drills Billy!!!

All these tips are from the golf digest december 2009 issue. You should give the magazine some credit
