Glad you folks are enjoying this train. It is Gold plated. Its been my favorite train ever since I was a little boy. The dead stop at the same point is because of a gap in the rail. I'll be fixing that soon. I run it whenever I have the time. Its an awesome set. Thanks!

is it a "true" 24k gold plated or just sprayed on look-a-like? Just wondering. Thanks for this video. I enjoyed it. To me I don't care if it is a collector item or not. They are ment to be runned. I think you would get more fun and enjoyment out of them if you ran them then just looking at them in their boxes. I guess different strokes for different folks. I'm glad you are running it and enjoying it though. Thanks again for sharing.

@puttrainguy Glad you liked it! I wanted this set all my life and I finally found all the pieces... It was worth every penny. Now just a little maintenance on the locomotive and the sound effects and it's perfect. Still have to put videos of the subways and other trains I own. Stay tuned and thanks for viewing.
